Upon arrival at Delos, your guide will issue tickets to the archaeological site to the group and offer an introduction to the mythological, prehistorical and historical background of the island. Then, set out to explore the narrow streets of the Hellenistic City, built in the 4th century BC, and see highlights such as the impressive house of Dionysos, the statue of Cleopatra, and some exquisite mosaics. After a short stop at the House of the Trident, reach the Theatre of Delos and the public cistern of the city. Stroll down the main street to return to the market and the Sanctuary zone. The Stoa of Phillipe, the donations of ancient celebrities, the Propylaia, the Colossus of the Naxians and the Temples of Apollo are the monuments to be admired before the last stop in front of the Sacred Lake and the eternal Naxian Lions. You will have time to visit the archaeological museum and the museum shop before returning to your boat.

We had a great experience. The guide was very informative. Without them we would just be looking at an island of pretty ruins.

DISAPPOINTED to say the least.
It was NON Existent!!! Even though we booked the night before, and our reservation was confirmed, the next day we received an email cancelling due to “low participation “. It must have been obvious the night before, but the Company did in fact accept the reservation and payment. By the time we got the cancellation it was impossible to make alternate arrangements. HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE. BTW we are still awaiting a refund.

Ancient History Adds Awesome Perspective
The tour to Delos from Mykonos took some time and effort but was worth it. Our guide was great- very knowledgable and amusing too. This history reminds us that we may want to practice some humility about our modern world.

Great tour at a fascinating dig
This was a great tour and we passed the long line for entry using the Viator tour. Our guide was wonderful - she brought to life through stories that kept us engaged and learning about ancient life. Don’t forget to hit the museum as well-the amount of statues and originals of the Delos lions was a worthwhile investment of our time. Word to the wise -bring 1-2 bottles of water with you as the only place to get liquids is at the end of the tour. We are really glad we made this trip.

Delos ruins
Delos for me was fascinating. If you love a tour of ancient ruins, this is perfect. The boat ride out from Mykonos was extremely choppy as the wind was howling but that was fine for us.
