Truly magical experience.
We had a truly spiritually enlightening experience on our day tour. The guide and driver were amazing people, they went above and beyond to help us get arranged into our hotel the night before when we had had arranged our airport pickup through them, they were prompt and helpful with hotel staff on check in and helped us get out reasonably. I feel that they made the experience in Delhi far less confusing… we are from the US and things are very different here in India. If It’s your first time, I suggest having a local guide assist you, the culture and how they do business is very different and could easily throw someone’s otherwise magical trip into a nightmare. That said, this team turned ours into a magical adventure and my family of 6 and I are forever grateful! We plan to return in a couple months for their Taj Mahal and Golden Triangle tours!!! I should likely also tell you how amazing the places we went were. My sons ages 10, 12, 15 and 17, had a truly magical experience at the iron pillar grounds. First a crow flew and landed on the gate as we walked up it hopped closer instead of away as we approached as if to welcome us… it was the closest any of us ever was to a wild crow. It seemed so wise. Just stared at us curiously… we all said hello… it seemed like it would of even been fine with being pet. But we were quickly distracted by a wild dog that also made a b line straight to our family where my kids gave it love and it rolled over and decided we were its new family… so we were off to explore the park and the boys were sitting by a ruin when a couple squirrels came up to them. My middle son had some cereal in his back pack and offered some so they stuck around a while. Meanwhile my twin flame and I went off to meditate and a family of green parrots came in to see what we were doing… first it was one… I said hello to it like you would a parrot in the US… It attempted to say it back a couple times and did pretty well… then it’s family sensed something was happening and we had a whole flock over there attempting to say hello! We felt blessed and went to walk the park some more… after the Iron Pillar we went to a temple complex that honors Shiva, Kali and Krishna… this was epic to me. I am aware that the soul that is Kali was also the incarnated soul that was Mary and that the soul that was Krishna was also an incarnation of the man most call Jesus. I know Jesus and Mary were here in India during the missing years in the Bible… I know Shiva represents the Divine Father, Kali the Mother and Krishna the Son… didn’t know there were any temples that honored them as a family… how beautiful! The priest was amazing. The temples were simple, clean, very powerful place to meditate and seek healing or guidance from above. We also went to the Lotus temple and a textile factory! The textile factory was a little over the top on the hard sale… but the overall education and experience there was worth enduring the pressure sales. We got some amazing deals on a Sari for myself and formal ceremonial garb for my sons. Then they dropped us to the airport after an amazing adventure we will never forget! Thank you Nikita Travel Team! God bless you! 😇

Half-Day City Tour of New Delhi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Half-Day City Tour of New Delhi cost?
+
Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half-Day City Tour of New Delhi take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Half-Day City Tour of New Delhi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day City Tour of New Delhi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half-Day City Tour of New Delhi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half-Day City Tour of New Delhi?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half-Day City Tour of New Delhi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
