Chanonry Point
Jutting out into the Moray Firth, this narrow peninsula provides an ideal vantage point, especially at rising tides, when dolphins come close to shore to hunt for fish although spotting dolphins is not guaranteed. The area is also rich in history and legend, with links to the Brahan Seer, a famous Scottish prophet said to have predicted Scotland’s future. The small but picturesque lighthouse was built in 1846, which adds to the charm of the spot. Whether for wildlife watching, photography, or simply enjoying the stunning coastal scenery looking over to Fort George and the Inverness suspension bridge.

The Singleton Distillery
The Singleton/Glen Ord Distillery was founded in 1838 and is currently owned by the large brand Diageo. Glen Ord is the last remaining distillery on the Black Isle and are one of the very few that still malt their own barley on site. Enjoy cheeseboards and a massive range of their tastings on offer in their newly 6-million-pound internal refurb where a few of their whisky’s can only be tried in certain regions of the world or right here at this distillery. For any guests that don’t like Whisky this can be missed however they do offer other alternative refreshments

Wardlaw Mausoleum

A private tour of Black Isle with Tony
This was a great tour and our guide, Tony, was the best. It was a private tour, just 3 of us, so he was able to make the tour personal. He showed us places that the big buses can't go. He treated us to Scottish treats, even a homemade one made by his mother! We all said this was our favorite tour because of Tony! Now we are hoping to go back someday and will definitely use Tony to show us other parts of beautiful Scotland!

Best Excursion in the Scottish Highlands.
Tony was our driver. I have to say, I've taken quite a few excursions but this one is at the top of my list. Tony was very knowledgeable, not only about the locations we visited, but the history of the Highlands. He was flexible in going wherever we wanted. I was with three others, and we are unanimous in our opinion this was the best excursion we took in our visit to Scotland and Iceland. I would book this again in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and book this excursion.

Beautiful Black Isle Tour
My wife and I had an unforgettable tour of the Black Isle with Tony. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Tony not only took us to the places we expected to see, but suggested some places we didn't know about, like Black Rock Gorge, which turned out to be one of the best places we visited. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. This was a memorable tour, and we will be calling Tony again when we return to Scotland.

Fabulous and unexpected.
The entire day flew by….Tony Monroe shared many special places and experiences that were totally unexpected. Every turn was a new treat. The Monroe clan is from the Highlands and he really knows and loves the area. I just wish I knew about this tour company (and Tony) at the beginning of our visit to the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. 5 stars is not enough!!!
