Misleading advertisements

The experience was misleading. Upon arrival, they told us about the VIP cost where we would go out alone and go to the private cenote. Sadly, from the start, one of the pieces of equipment had problems. Causing them to have to change it at the beach, the person who was driving it had to go slowly, because the axle almost didn't allow turning. Additionally, they took us to the public cenote, then everyone else from the tour arrived. The worst experience was that upon arrival they sold us very expensive photos for $80, then they dropped to $65usd, but if I don't contact them they don't send me the photos. To top off the bad experience, if one pays for the photos, one does it for the ones one cannot take (in the buggies), but no, the photographer says she didn't take those of us in the buggies. When we are adults and we see the times she stopped to take them of us. Because of that misunderstanding, they refunded us $20usd directly from the ranch, but it's not worth it, since the photos sent outside the buggies could have been taken by ourselves. Totally a bittersweet experience. Do not book with them; with the cost we paid, it should have been for good equipment and photos that would serve for our memories.

Not for everyone

The buggies and quad in a bad condition, Over 1 hour wait for it to finally start. More of a promotional event in the further course.

Response from the operator: Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung.

Good, Muddy Fun!

We had so much fun with Cesar Coca Cola, Gabriel and their team. I prefer less stops, more ride but we got what we booked and we had good, muddy fun! They booked us last minute...about 90 minutes before! We'll do private excursion next time so we can go full speed all the time! And just book through the site. They'll still pick you up. Highly recommend! So much fun!!!!!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your amazing feedback! We’re thrilled to hear you had a blast with César “Coca Cola,” Gabriel, and the rest of our team — they’ll be so happy to know they made your day unforgettable! We totally get your preference for more ride time and fewer stops, and we’re glad you still enjoyed the muddy adventure. Next time, a private tour sounds like the perfect choice for you — full speed, full freedom, and all the fun you can handle! Thanks again for trusting us, even on such short notice. We can’t wait to welcome you back for round two!

Half-Day Atv Tour to The Cave and Macao Beach With Transportation: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.

How much does Half-Day Atv Tour to The Cave and Macao Beach With Transportation cost?

+

Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half-Day Atv Tour to The Cave and Macao Beach With Transportation take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.

Is Half-Day Atv Tour to The Cave and Macao Beach With Transportation worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Atv Tour to The Cave and Macao Beach With Transportation?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half-Day Atv Tour to The Cave and Macao Beach With Transportation suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Half-Day Atv Tour to The Cave and Macao Beach With Transportation?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half-Day Atv Tour to The Cave and Macao Beach With Transportation start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?

+

On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
