North Fork like we've never seen it
Eric was so knowledgable and accommodating and really gave us a unique taste of the North Fork and different things it had to offer. We definitely hope to come back sometime soon. Couldn't recommend this tour enough!

Great Introduction to the North Fork
This tour was a wonderful way to experience the North Fork for the first time. Eric was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, making sure we got to enjoy everything there is to offer — the history, cuisine, people, and scenery. This tour is a great way to spend some of your day if you’re looking for something new to do and is an even better gift to give.

The BEST Way to Experience North Fork ! Thanks Eric for a Perfect Day!
Working with Eric was seamless from start to finish. He’s professional, friendly, and truly looks out for his guests. Eric meticulously planned an incredible oyster farm tour where we learned the process firsthand and enjoyed the freshest farm-to-table oysters. It was the highlight that set the tone for a perfect day. He made my friend’s bachelorette weekend an absolute hit, made me look like a fabulous hero, and even helped capture great group photos throughout the day. As a passionate local and true North Fork insider, Eric curated the best of the region with beautiful wineries, hidden gems, local bites, and special surprises like Bobby Flay’s world-famous meatballs. From flowers and chocolates to cider donuts and amazing wines, every stop felt thoughtfully chosen. The experience was not only unforgettable but also an amazing value for everything included. If you want to see North Fork at its best, this is the guy you want to go with. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the review, Deyjah! We cover quite a bit didn't we? All of you, were so nice to tour with and the planning we did ahead of time worked out perfectly. Appreciate the recommendation as well :-)

The tour was an excellent experience. The stops during the tour had good food and wine with a fun atmosphere. The guide, Eric, was incredible. He provided us with a wealth of knowledge about North Fork while keeping us entertained. Eric was accommodating and flexible with our timing. He customized the experience to fit our interests. Highly recommend this tour! You will not regret it!!
Response from the operator: Appreciate the comments and the recommendation Megan. We love when we can share the history of the North Fork in between the stops on the tour. Glad we landed on an itinerary that suited all as well. Hope to see you and crew again sometime soon!

Great personalized NoFo experience!
We had an amazing day touring the North Fork with Eric! He has such a genuine connection to the area and a great mix of local insight and history — from British influences and stories about Einstein to how the East End’s food and wine scene has evolved over the years. Even after visiting the North Fork for years, I learned so much I’d never heard before. You can tell he’s well-loved in the community — all the businesses at the stops knew him and treated us like friends. The tour felt personal, relaxed, and full of fun surprises. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Grateful for this review Ronn and very nice meeting and your friends from Brooklyn and Manhattan! Thank you for highlighting the local connections we have built here along with the history of the North Fork. Pleased to see you enjoyed the day...

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Half Day(AM) North Fork Private Wine & Food Tour by Local Expert: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Long Island.
How much does Half Day(AM) North Fork Private Wine & Food Tour by Local Expert cost?
+
Prices start at $439 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Long Island usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half Day(AM) North Fork Private Wine & Food Tour by Local Expert take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Long Island is not rushed.
Is Half Day(AM) North Fork Private Wine & Food Tour by Local Expert worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Long Island, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half Day(AM) North Fork Private Wine & Food Tour by Local Expert?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half Day(AM) North Fork Private Wine & Food Tour by Local Expert suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half Day(AM) North Fork Private Wine & Food Tour by Local Expert?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Long Island can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Long Island and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half Day(AM) North Fork Private Wine & Food Tour by Local Expert start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Long Island within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Long Island?
+
Long Island covers North Fork winery tours, Hamptons beach days, Gold Coast mansion visits and fishing or sailing charters, most reachable as a day trip from Manhattan. On Outty we rank every Long Island experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Transfer in Black SUV to or from JFK, LGA, EWR, Skip the Lines Reliable Comfortable and stress free Rides, Black SUV Transfer From or To JFK, LGA, EWR - All Fees Included. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Long Island?
+
May to October, with harvest tastings peaking in September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Long Island?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
