Highlight of Our Seoul Trip
Exploring Gwangjang Market with Youla was one of the highlights of our trip to Seoul. She brought the market to life by sharing the history, culture, and stories behind the food and the people. My 12-year-old son loves trying unique foods, so eating live octopus was the highlight of the tour for him. He’ll try just about anything, and this was an experience he’d been looking forward to. It definitely didn’t disappoint. Youla was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel authentic and relaxed. If you’re visiting Seoul and want to experience Gwangjang Market beyond just the food, I highly recommend booking with Season & Sense Korea. It was one of our favorite experiences in Seoul.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and recommendation! It was truly an honor to share an authentic Korean experience with you through Season & Sense Korea. Whenever you return to Korea, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Always welcome you again! 😊 Season & Sense Korea Youla Jo

This is a great tour. We had a variety of food and drink in the market, most of which I would never have tried had I been on my own. Youla was an excellent guide. I would highly recommend this tour!!!

A fun and relaxed K-beauty experience
I booked this tour because I wanted to experience K-beauty without having to plan everything myself, and it turned out to be a really good decision. After booking, the host reached out to help me choose my two sessions and set the schedule. Everything was well organized, so the day felt smooth and relaxed. I chose the head spa and personal color analysis, and both places felt professional and local rather than touristy. The head spa was very relaxing and helped me unwind, especially after walking around Seoul for a few days. The personal color analysis was also interesting and practical. It actually made choosing makeup and clothes feel easier afterward. I also appreciated the guided Olive Young stop at the end. Instead of randomly buying things, the host explained which products would work for me and why, which saved a lot of time and guesswork. Overall, this felt like a personalized experience rather than a standard tour. If you’re interested in K-beauty and want something flexible and low-stress, this is a nice way to do it.
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining Season & Sense for your K-beauty experience in Seoul. We are so glad you enjoyed both the head spa and personal color analysis, and that they felt truly local and professional. It was a pleasure guiding you at Olive Young so you could shop with confidence hope to welcome you again on your next visit! Season & Sense Korea

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Gwangjang Market Food Tour with Personalized K-Beauty Shopping: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.
How much does Gwangjang Market Food Tour with Personalized K-Beauty Shopping cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Gwangjang Market Food Tour with Personalized K-Beauty Shopping take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.
Is Gwangjang Market Food Tour with Personalized K-Beauty Shopping worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Gwangjang Market Food Tour with Personalized K-Beauty Shopping?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Gwangjang Market Food Tour with Personalized K-Beauty Shopping suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 19. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Gwangjang Market Food Tour with Personalized K-Beauty Shopping?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Gwangjang Market Food Tour with Personalized K-Beauty Shopping start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seoul?
+
On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seoul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seoul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
