Make sure you have the latest update on your phone or the Apple will not download. This takes you off of the beach into the business district. While it was fun to take some quirky photos, we wouldn’t normally have taken, we were disappointed in the hunt itself. You may as well just walk around the business district at your leisure. The “free samples” they mentioned in the description is a free tester sample of ice cream, already given to regular customers at the ice cream shop. I wish we would have just paid for one person to download the app.

The app guides participants through a curated series of locations, challenges, trivia, photo missions, and activities that many families tell us they would not have discovered on their own. Regarding pricing, our tours are sold per participant, not per device. Each registered guest is included in the experience, scoring, photos, and support. Our software licensing and operating costs are based on the number of participants rather than the number of phones used, which is why pricing is not determined by a single app download. The complimentary sample mentioned is provided as a courtesy by one of our participating partners, and while sample sizes may vary, we appreciate their support in helping make the experience more enjoyable. We're sorry the tour wasn't exactly what you expected, but we're happy to hear your family completed the adventure together. Not what we expected

Feel it could be better advertised advertising more of what it was & what was involved. Not what we expected & 1/2 way through decided to bail which had already taken 2 hours & only really spent small amount of time at 2 locations. And one of the locations was closed & we couldn’t even get to.

Our tours are designed as self-guided interactive adventures rather than traditional sightseeing tours. The route includes challenges, trivia, photo missions, and stops at participating locations, with most groups taking between 1 and 2 hours to complete depending on how long they choose to spend at each stop. We're also sorry one of our partner locations was closed during your visit. While business hours are set by each individual establishment and are outside of our control, the tour is designed so that a temporary closure does not prevent guests from completing the experience. We appreciate your suggestion about better describing what is involved before guests purchase. We got to explore the area

We thought there would be more riddles and puzzles. It took us to quite a few stops including stores. It was really hot the day we did it.

First Time at Gulf Shores—and It Couldn’t Have Been More Fun!

This was my very first time visiting Gulf Shores Beach, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I did the Splash and Dash Tour and Scavenger Hunt, and it was so much fun. The challenges were creative and easy to follow, and I actually managed to complete them all! What made it even more special was that it happened to be my birthday—and the staff went above and beyond by taking a special birthday photo of me at Sunliner Diner! It meant a lot, and the photos turned out amazing. If you’re visiting the area, you HAVE to do this. It’s fun, unique, and a great way to explore the beach. Total must-do!

Terrible experience-not as advertised!

We booked this expecting a fun group experience with history and a scavenger hunt. Unfortunately when we showed up we were greeted by a very unwelcoming woman who informed us “she doesn’t ever actually show up for these” and directed us to an app, I assume was actually intended for her use to guide us. We were then told we were on our own! We requested a refund as this was not at all what was advertised or what we expected and we were refused the refund! DO NOT do this tour!

Several groups completed this same tour that day and shared how much fun they had—taking smiling photos, completing challenges, and expressing how much they enjoyed exploring the area and participating in the experience. Although you may not have realized I was the owner at the time, I personally greeted your group and explained how the experience works. At no point during our exchange did anyone express concern or dissatisfaction. In fact, your group went on to complete over six challenges, take photos, and film videos, participating in the adventure. The pictures featured on our tour listing are guest photos and serve as a great reference to the kind of fun families and groups often have. We understand that everyone has different expectations, especially when it comes to teamwork, problem-solving, walking, and exploring the beautiful Gulf Shores area.
