Tuscan adventure to Saturnia waterfalls
Marco very friendly, ( a very proud Italian man) arrived on time to pick us up, snacks and water provided in car for our long journey through the beautiful scenery of Tuscany, gave historic references and where we were on our adventure to Saturnia waterfalls. The water falls are beautiful and very warm. We had 2 hours at the water falls. Absolutely worth the trip.. the sunset back was stunning. Marco went above and beyond for us.. a very big thank you to him..would highly recommend this trip with him.

Awful do not recommend
Absolutely terrible experience—easily a 0/10 and a complete waste of time and money. The way this trip was advertised was extremely misleading. The hot springs themselves are actually free to access, yet we were charged $220 essentially just for transportation, which is outrageous. Nowhere was it made clear that the fee was solely for the ride, making this feel like a complete scam. Beyond the price issue, the experience itself was disappointing. The hot springs were not as clean as expected—there were small worms in the water, which was extremely off-putting. However, it is a natural springs so complete cleanliness was not expected. Additionally, the logistics were terrible. We spent 2.5 hours traveling there and another 2.5 hours back, only to get one measly hour at the hot springs before being rushed to leave. Not only that but our guide never informed us that we had to pay for the showers after the springs with only euro coins which we were not prepared for. The time spent there was nowhere near enough to justify the long and uncomfortable journey. Overall, this experience was a complete rip-off, and I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone. Save your time and money—there are far better and more transparent ways to visit hot springs without being scammed like this.
Response from the operator: I find this review incorrect or at least it would have been more correct to inform yourself before. I have sent you numerous messages to warn you of the adverse weather conditions that would have affected your experience at the spa. Unfortunately behind a negative review there is a worker who tries to do the best for the customer.

Beautiful and enjoyable experience.
I love this tour. The guide took the time to stop for us to take breathtaking photos. He also gave us so much information in regard every place we pass on. I love Tuscany, Siena and Terna Saturnia. It was a beautiful and enjoyable experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you! I'm very happy that you enjoyed my tour so much! I really hope to see you again soon and enjoy your journey :)

A fun experience in Saturnia
The views were amazing! Definitely a long car ride with windy roads so I recommend going slow! Marco was incredibly friendly and polite. He knew all about the best places and we had an amazing lunch! Very nice and great tour guide!
Response from the operator: Thank you! I'm very happy that you enjoyed my tour so much! I really hope to see you again soon and enjoy your journey :)

Great Place wish the weather was nicer
The property is wonderful, the owners update is a sales pitch. Once again I'm basically called stupid for not buying more. I'm happy with what I have and I can be called stupid for $100. Even though it wasted 1 and half hours of my time after being promised on lu an hour over and over.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Guided tour to the wonderful Saturnia thermal waterfalls: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Guided tour to the wonderful Saturnia thermal waterfalls cost?
+
Prices start at $250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Guided tour to the wonderful Saturnia thermal waterfalls take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Guided tour to the wonderful Saturnia thermal waterfalls worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Guided tour to the wonderful Saturnia thermal waterfalls?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Guided tour to the wonderful Saturnia thermal waterfalls suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Guided tour to the wonderful Saturnia thermal waterfalls?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Guided tour to the wonderful Saturnia thermal waterfalls start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
