Start with a pickup from your central Cairo or Giza hotel by private, air-conditioned vehicle. Meet your Egyptologist guide, and set off to explore the city’s highlights. If there’s something you want to see more of, let your guide know: your tour is private, so the itinerary can be tailored to your interests and will last between 6-8 hours. Visit the Giza Plateau in the el-Giza district, to admire the three Giza pyramids. Marvel at these massive ancient burial tombs, built around 2,500 BC, and learn how and why they were constructed. Get free time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost) and explore its empty inner chambers independently — your guide is not permitted to enter with you. Gaze up at the colossal Sphinx, the enigmatic statue of a human-headed lion that guards the pyramids, and if you wish, visit the Solar Boat Museum (additional cost); home to the funerary boat of Khufu, the pharaoh for whom the Great Pyramid was built. Admire the beautiful wooden boat, once used to transport Khufu’s body to the site, and learn how its remnants were discovered and reassembled.

  2. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo

Then, head inside Cairo’s Egyptian Museum, home to some 120,000 incredible ancient artifacts. Let your guide introduce you to some of the highlights, including the star attraction: the treasures of Tutankhamun. Admire the boy king’s gold death mask, coffins and funerary treasures, and learn about his short and troubled reign. Then, enjoy some free time to explore the museum at leisure.

    Pass by without stopping

  3. Khan Al-Khalili Bazaar

When you finish your lunch you will drive to the oldest bazaar in the middle east Khan El-khalili to enjoy and where you can make shopping, after that go back to your hotel by the end of day trip.

A Guide's Passion That Outshone the Pyramids!

Egypt was truly a mysterious and awe-inspiring country. The most impressive place was undoubtedly the Pyramids of Giza. Seeing the massive stones stacked so precisely, I couldn’t help but wonder, “How did they build such structures in ancient times?” No photo or video could ever capture the overwhelming presence they have in person. The Sphinx, located near the pyramids, was also breathtaking. Despite centuries of weathering, it still wears a majestic expression. This enormous statue, with the body of a lion and the face of a human, perfectly symbolizes the mystery of ancient Egyptian civilization. Above all, what I appreciated the most was our guide’s thoughtful care and incredible passion. Because of the scorching July heat, he kindly rescheduled our departure to 8 a.m. and throughout the entire trip, he offered detailed and engaging explanations. At the museum, he explained everything in a way that was fun, clear, and never boring, so both kids and adults were fully engaged and enjoyed the visit. Even while sweating heavily under the hot sun, he never showed any sign of fatigue and kept a bright smile as he guided us. His dedication left a deep impression on us, and made the trip even more memorable. At the Egyptian Museum, I had the chance to see the golden mask of Tutankhamun. It was breathtakingly beautiful—truly a masterpiece. I was amazed by how well the ancient artifacts were preserved, and I became even more fascinated by Egypt’s brilliant history and culture. This trip wasn’t just about sightseeing. It was a meaningful journey filled with wonder for ancient civilization and human brilliance.

How much does Guided Tour to Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum& Khan El-khalili with Tickets cost?

+

How far in advance should I book Guided Tour to Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum& Khan El-khalili with Tickets?

+

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Guided Tour to Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum& Khan El-khalili with Tickets start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Giza?

+

On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Giza?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
