A Wonderful and Memorable Experience with Tiago and Endless Tour
We spent several wonderful days exploring Braga and northern Portugal with Tiago from Endless Tour, and we could not have asked for a more thoughtful and attentive guide. Tiago showed us the history and beauty of Guimarães, explaining the important landmarks and sharing interesting historical background as well as local specialties. We also explored the surrounding countryside, including the dam and old village, where walking through nature was one of the most memorable and refreshing experiences of our trip. Our day in Peneda-Gerês National Park was another highlight. Tiago took us through beautiful forests, waterfalls, mountain viewpoints, sanctuaries and small villages, allowing us to experience a very different side of northern Portugal. Around Braga, he showed us Bom Jesus do Monte, Sameiro Sanctuary, the Monastery of São Martinho de Tibães, archaeological sites and the beautiful surrounding countryside. He also took the time to introduce us to Braga’s historic centre and helped us appreciate the history and character of this lovely city. What made our experience especially memorable, however, was Tiago himself. He was knowledgeable, polite, patient and genuinely attentive to our comfort and interests. Throughout our time with him, he surprised us with thoughtful little touches, introduced us to local specialties, always made sure we had water, and recommended excellent local restaurants. We felt very well cared for. Tiago went above and beyond what we expected from a tour guide. By the end of our time in Braga, we felt that we had experienced not only the famous sights, but also some of the history, food, nature and everyday character of this beautiful region. We are very grateful to Tiago for making our visit so special and memorable. We would wholeheartedly recommend Tiago and Endless Tour to anyone wanting to discover Braga and northern Portugal.
