    A fun morning exploring Madrid

The guide was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed her explanations about the different neighborhoods I visited. I had never been to the Financial District, the Salamanca district or Las Ventas, and I appreciated the differences between the neighborhoods, especially Salamanca. Next time I return to Madrid, I'll stay in the Salamanca district to understand it even better.

    Fantastic Christmas tour of Madrid

Fantastic experience in the center of Madrid. I recommend this tour if it is your first day of stay in the city. Madrid is not only the historic center but also has more neighborhoods that are very interesting as well. Carmen took us, apart from the old town, to the Financial Center of the city, where the famous Santiago Bernabeu stadium is located, we also went to the Salamanca neighborhood where we walked and saw the Christmas decorations, we could walk and see the exclusive shops of that beautiful neighborhood. Our last stop was in Las Ventas where we could take pictures in the bullring. At the end, Carmen gave us recommendations of restaurants and tapas bars to go later to eat on our own. I totally recommend this tour if you want to see a more total Madrid.

    Walking Tour Of Old Madrid

Spent a few days visiting Madrid at the beginning of February. Due to time scale we pre booked this tour prior to arrival in Madrid. Downloading tickets was easy and clear instructions were provided. Carmen was our guide and it was wonderful seeing someone so passionate about their city as well as being so knowledgeable. It made a lovely change to see other parts of Madrid and not just the tourist bits. We would highly recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: ¡Hola SamNicolaides! Thanks for your words and for recommending my tour, for me it was also a pleasure to meet you and spend a morning together learning about the city its history and culture. A hug from Madrid Carmen

A great way to spend 3 hours.

Just back from a whistle stop trip to Madrid (2 nights). One of our tours was with Carmen and was of the old section of Madrid. Having had other tours during our stay it was lovely to see the 'not so busy' parts of Madrid. Carmen has a great knowledge and is very passionate about her city. Asking questions was no problem and we had plenty of them and got answers to them all. I would highly recommend this tour and next time, will make sure we have a full day and include the tapas part as well.

Response from the operator: ¡ Hola Linda! Thank you very much for your words, for me it was also a pleasure to meet you and show you my city, I'm glad you enjoyed and next time I'll be waiting for you to do one of my gastronomic tours. Greetings from Madrid! Carmen

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
