Here you can admire the agricultural terraces, the colonial temple and witness the textile production process.

Maras Moray Tours
We will continue towards Moray, a fascinating place with circular agricultural experimentation terraces. From there, we will go to the Salineras de Maras, where you can appreciate the salt pools on stepped terraces and learn about the ancestral tradition of salt extraction. Once at the viewpoint, you will have 30 minutes to marvel at the mountain's stunning colors, ranging from shades of red to blue and green. Our guide will share interesting facts about the cultural importance of this site. The limited time at the viewpoint is due to altitude and health considerations, but it is enough to capture spectacular photos and experience the wonder of 7 Colors Mountain. Then, we will return to Cusipata to enjoy a lunch that will recharge your energy before embarking on the return trip to Cusco.

Great private tour
We booked a private half-day tour of Chinchero and Ollantaytambo. We loved how Jisa worked with us to customize the trip we needed (one-way from Cusco to the rail station in Ollantaytambo). We especially loved our tour guide, Juan, whose sense of humor and English proficiency were both superior to other guides we’ve had in the area. Additionally, we appreciated his flexibility and his knowledge of the history, topography, industry, and culture of the area. Highly recommend!

You can’t miss this one.
Our guide, Mihai (might be spelling it wrong) was funny, informative, enthusiastic, and very kind. I accidentally booked the Spanish tour, but he was kind enough to give a special English translation just for me. His jokes were solid as well. In my opinion, the sights on this trip are underrated gems. Machu Picchu gets the most attention in Cusco, but Ollantaytumbo is a vast and impressive citadel that should get a lot more love. You will not regret this trip. A wonderful, memorable way to spend a day.

Spectacular from start to end, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Absolutely amazing tour From the private transportation with Luis, which was able to get us in and out quickly from each major stop. While others waiting to board busses. Lunch in Urubambo was an amazing buffet in a beautiful location, Resto Muña. To top it all off, Johnny Walker was top notch excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient and caring. Each stop was amazing and learned so much about Incan culture/history. Honestly surprised by how 5 star this tour was. Phenomenal work Team JISA!
