    Best Food Tour ever!!

This food tour in Stockholm was one of the best we’ve ever had - comparing to five or six across many different countries and cities. Lots of great food. Oliver was a great guide! (I probably did not top enough!). My husband has trouble walking long distances and Oliver even figured out a way for my husband to take a bus on one of the legs of the tour so didn’t have to walk a mile with us. But met us right on time at the next stop. Highly recommend!!

Response from the operator: Dear Elisabeth, Thank you for your wonderful review and photos! We agree that Oliver is a sweetheart and so knowledgeable. The whole team at Food Tours Stockholm is delighted that you found our tour to be the "best food tour ever!"

    Fantastic Food Tour in Stockholm

Really great food tour. Loved the little touches - including providing a guidebook that details everywhere we visited. The food was fantastic - we were so full at the end! Our guide, Fredrik, was wonderful. Very kind, helpful and knowledgable - truly a pleasure to be around. Overall, I would say that this tour is excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this food tour - one of the best that I have ever been on.

Response from the operator: We are delighted that you thought the food was fantastic and the guide wonderful. Also that you appreciated the little touches like the book of all the places you visited on the tour. Thank you, Scott, for taking the time to write your 5-star review and recommendation!

    Educational and tasty!

Super sweet, knowledgeable guide who knows the chefs/owners personally. Each food item was carefully chosen to tell you something about Sweden and its culture/traditions rather than just choosing modern foods that suit modern palates. This tour is exactly how a food tour should be! Great intro to the country and its people.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your high praise that your tour was exactly how a food tour should be and a great introduction to Swedish food, culture, traditions, and people. We appreciate your super sweet review, Mindy!

    Great guide and terrific food!

Very knowledgeable guide and great variety of food. Oliver also did a great job providing area history!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your positive review and photos, Kevin! It's rewarding to know that you enjoyed the taste and variety of the food and learning about area history from your guide Oliver.

Tour took 3 1/2 hours to get us through 2 hours of content.

It was nice but too slow - we spent 30 minutes in a corner grocery store. The whole tour could have been compressed to 2 hours (it took 3 1/2).

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad that you enjoyed the tour overall, although we’re sorry that the pace felt too slow for you. The tour is designed as an approximately 3.5-hour experience, including tastings, walking between stops and time to learn about Swedish food culture. On this particular tour, several guest questions meant that the stop at the local food shop ran longer than usual. We understand that this may have felt slow for those who were ready to move on, and we are discussing how we can manage similar situations more smoothly in the future.

Guided Swedish Food Walking Tour in Stockholm: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Stockholm.

How much does Guided Swedish Food Walking Tour in Stockholm cost?

    +

Prices start at $119 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Stockholm usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Guided Swedish Food Walking Tour in Stockholm take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Stockholm is not rushed.

Is Guided Swedish Food Walking Tour in Stockholm worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 155 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Stockholm, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Guided Swedish Food Walking Tour in Stockholm?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Guided Swedish Food Walking Tour in Stockholm suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Guided Swedish Food Walking Tour in Stockholm?

    +

Around 54 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Stockholm can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Stockholm and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Guided Swedish Food Walking Tour in Stockholm start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Stockholm within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Stockholm?

    +

On Outty we rank every Stockholm experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Stockholm: Walking Tour of the Old Town, Best of Stockholm: Small Group Walking Tour (Max 10, 3 Hours), Vasa Museum Guided Tour, Including Ticket & Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Stockholm?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Stockholm?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
