Hey Mon The Snorkeling Be The Best

Eddie was great driver and local guide who picked us up at our hotel (Princess Grand) and took us back after the snorkeling was over. We happened to be only two people who book so we had the boat and your to ourselves. Wonderful relaxing short boat ride to the reef. We saw at least 15 different species of fish, plenty of coral, anemones, and urchins. The highlight was guide helping us spot a camouflage octopus resting next to rocks and young spiny lobster. This tour company provided exceptional customer service. Don’t hesitate to book.

Response from the operator: Big up to Eddie! 😊 Thanks for the awesome review! We're thrilled you had an amazing time snorkeling with us and that Eddie provided top-notch service from pickup to drop-off. Having the boat to yourselves was a bonus! Our guides love sharing the reef's secrets, and spotting that camouflage octopus and young spiny lobster was definitely a highlight. We appreciate your kind words about our customer service - we'll pass it on to the team! Thanks again for choosing terrytours, and we hope to sea you again soon!😉. We appreciate you 🫵

    Terry is the best!

We had a blast with Terry! From the moment we were picked up—punctually and in clean, comfortable vehicles—we knew we were in great hands. Terry was not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the area, which made every stop feel meaningful and well thought out. He took us where Jamaicans live off the touring routes and showed us inland areas that made us more connected with the island Terry took us shopping, guided us to fantastic local spots to eat including a fish stand on the side of the road that was as authentic as it was delicious. He listed to us and crafted a tour that was 100% tailored to our interests. The pricing was more than reasonable, and the level of care for our safety and enjoyment was unmatched. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had a blast with Terry on your shopping adventure. We're grateful for your kind words about Terry's friendliness, knowledge, and attention to detail. Am happy he went above and beyond to ensure you had an unforgettable experience. We're proud of our team for providing exceptional service and tailored experiences that meet our guests' unique interests. Your safety and enjoyment are always our top priorities🙂. Thanks again for choosing TerryTours for your Jamaican adventure! We can't wait to welcome you back and share more of the island's hidden gems with you.

Guided Snorkeling at the Anchor and Cannon Reef in Negril: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Negril.

How much does Guided Snorkeling at the Anchor and Cannon Reef in Negril cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Negril usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Guided Snorkeling at the Anchor and Cannon Reef in Negril take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Negril is not rushed.

Is Guided Snorkeling at the Anchor and Cannon Reef in Negril worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Negril, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Guided Snorkeling at the Anchor and Cannon Reef in Negril?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Guided Snorkeling at the Anchor and Cannon Reef in Negril suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Guided Snorkeling at the Anchor and Cannon Reef in Negril?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Negril can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Negril and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Guided Snorkeling at the Anchor and Cannon Reef in Negril start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Negril within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Negril?

    +

On Outty we rank every Negril experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Transportation and Tour from Montego Bay to Blue Hole/Secret Falls, Negril Glass Bottom Boat Tour Snorkeling and Booby Cay, ATV, Bamboo Rafting and Negril Ricks Cafe from Montego Bay. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Negril?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Negril?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
