About this experience
The morning begins at Parc de la Mar, next to the Cathedral. There you will meet our guide to start a walking tour of some of the most emblematic corners of the historic center. The gardens of s'Hort del Rei, the Plaza de la Reina, the Parliament, or the Plaza de Cort are part of a walk between tradition, architecture, and history. During the tour we will enter a Mallorcan courtyard of a stately home, a sample of the local architecture. We will also visit the interior of the Cathedral of Mallorca, a monumental work that dominates the bay and houses valuable pieces of the island's heritage. Afterward, we will head to the Serra de Tramuntana to visit Valldemossa. Upon your arrival, we will take a brief walking tour with the guide and then you will have free time to enjoy the town at your own pace. You can walk through its cobbled streets, discover handicraft shops, or try the traditional potato coca, one of the most typical specialties of Valldemossa.

Fantastic experience!
Positive experience. Made specifically for those who want to walk and enjoy the historic center. Great guide in Italian. Unfortunately it was very hot, but we still had a lot of fun.

Beautiful!
We visited the city of Palma as well as the cathedral and then finished the city of Valldemossa. Our different guides were perfect. They taught us so much about Palma, its cathedral and the history of this city.

Interesting, but 4 hours is not enough to do both activities.
The meeting point was quite chaotic due to the different groups. Departure time was not stated correctly on the website, so we had difficulty visiting the toilet between the cathedral visit and the drive to Valdemossa, let alone eating or drinking something as indicated in advance. Both guides, especially Vicky and Karo, were great, but not always clearly audible due to lack of microphone. The free time in Valdemossa was far too short, but we enjoyed the atmosphere, the view, and the additional information that Karo provided. We would recommend both activities, but on 2 different days.

Worst trip ever!
That was the worst tour ever! Completely disorganized from the beginning. The tour guide collected a crowd of 50 people to go into cathedral. Nobody could hear anything. We had to leave and go on our own. And for the second part we decided not to go, because it was a huge crowd English, German and French speakers. Also everything was delayed and we were afraid to be late for our cruise ship! Complete waste of money and time!

Great tour of Cathedral & Valldemossa
Whilst it was good to hear the history of the culture and history of the Cathedral this was done outside. Less time in Cathedral and could have made more of this tour had headphones been available. Very knowledgeable guide though (Vicky). As I was staying in the Old Town I forfeited the walking tour there to stay on in Cathedral then made my own way to Meeting Point! Bus trip to Valldemossa was well Organised. I didnt do the included guided tour, choosing to have lunch and explore myself. Stunning authentic village and the highlight of my holiday. My suggestion would be for City Experience to make this excursion 60 mins Cathedral and the remaining 3 hours transit to / from Valldemossa and more time there. Felt too rushed. The Old Town walking tour completely separate as that must have been whistlestop. Good value for money. Recommend!

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Guided Route through Palma with Cathedral and visit to Valldemossa (4H): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does Guided Route through Palma with Cathedral and visit to Valldemossa (4H) cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Guided Route through Palma with Cathedral and visit to Valldemossa (4H) take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is Guided Route through Palma with Cathedral and visit to Valldemossa (4H) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Guided Route through Palma with Cathedral and visit to Valldemossa (4H)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Guided Route through Palma with Cathedral and visit to Valldemossa (4H) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Guided Route through Palma with Cathedral and visit to Valldemossa (4H)?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Guided Route through Palma with Cathedral and visit to Valldemossa (4H) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
