Hear the stories that helped shape his character. You’ll gain insight into Atlanta’s history as well as other movers and shakers such as the city’s first Black Millionaire, on through the struggles of the Jim Crow era. Our guide is a long-time Atlanta resident who has worked for three former Atlanta Mayors including civil rights icon and former U.S. Ambassador. Andrew J. Young Jr.

Wonderful experience learning about “Marty’s” childhood
Ms. Stephanie was an absolute gem. She had lots of anecdotal tales of life in Atlanta. The almost 2 hours absolutely flew by. We got to tour the newly renovated MLK Jr house where he was born and a ranger guided us through the house. Ms Stephanie then took us through the King Center and by the reflection pool. After the tour, we were able to go inside the Ebenezer Church. Highly recommend.
