Scent-sational Time

We had a beautiful and peaceful time exploring the different types of lavender, harvesting our own to make our own bouquet, and learning about it’s many uses from the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, but engaging and thoughtful experience.

We’d love to welcome you back to Aires de Lavanda anytime!

My husband did not expect to like it so much!

My husband did not expect to like it so much! When my friend and I told our guys that I wanted to go to lavender field, they were not really excited. But we learned tons about the plants sampled some amazing lavender lemonade were able to pick lavender ourselves and learn about the distilling process. It was a really great activity and even though 102° we were quite comfortable. The tour guide was wonderful in doing the tour in both English and Spanish so no one was left out and the tour size was perfect for a truly wonderful time.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We love hearing that even the gentlemen in your group ended up enjoying the lavender tour — it’s always a pleasant surprise how much there is to learn (and taste!) about this beautiful plant. We’re glad you enjoyed the lemonade, the chance to pick lavender, and learning about the distilling process. It’s wonderful to know that the bilingual tour helped make the experience comfortable for everyone, even in the summer heat. For future visitors reading this, each season in Aires de Lavanda offers something unique — from picnics in the field to handcrafted lavender products in our shop — so there’s always a new way to enjoy your time here. We hope to welcome you back soon! 🌿💜

Entirely worth it

This was such a nice experience. Our tour guide Maria was absolutely lovely! It’s the off season for lavender and it was freezing but we still had a great time. With the wind we really experienced the meaning of the name. Will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! We're so glad to hear you had a wonderful experience despite the chilly weather and off-season for lavender. Maria will be delighted to know she made your visit memorable! The wind definitely adds a unique touch to the meaning of Aires de Lavanda. We look forward to welcoming you back if you're ever in the area again! Safe travels!

Lavender Tour in El Valle de Guadalupe

We truly enjoyed this lavender tour! We received our private guide and learned so much about lavender. The aesthetics in the lavender field were phenomenal and offered many instagrammable opportunities. I highly recommend this tour, which offered a variety of activities and included a nice lavender lemonade refreshment. The price of the tour was very reasonable and really worth money. If you find yourself in El Valle and are looking for a unique activity to do with your friends and family, please consider this tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you truly enjoyed your lavender tour and found it both informative and visually stunning. Our team takes great pride in providing memorable experiences, and we're delighted that you appreciated the private guide, the beautiful aesthetics of the lavender field, and the variety of activities offered. It's fantastic to know that you enjoyed the lavender lemonade refreshment as well! We strive to offer unique and refreshing treats to enhance our guests' experience. Your recommendation means the world to us, and we're grateful for your kind words. nice but not a must do

This was probably a little less exciting given that I was solo, but my main disappointment was the teeny tiny dessert. I thought dessert being included would be a proper dessert, just like a slice of cake or something! it was nice learning the different varieties of lavender and the grounds are beautiful. and becsue it was just me, i also got to see the winery.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your comments, we are glad you enjoyed our experience, the dessert is just a small sample that we make and since it’s sweet many people prefer a small portion ☺️ we will take your comments into consideration

Guided Lavender Experience: Cultivation, Uses and Tasting: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ensenada.

How much does Guided Lavender Experience: Cultivation, Uses and Tasting cost?

+

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ensenada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Guided Lavender Experience: Cultivation, Uses and Tasting take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ensenada is not rushed.

Is Guided Lavender Experience: Cultivation, Uses and Tasting worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ensenada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Guided Lavender Experience: Cultivation, Uses and Tasting?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Guided Lavender Experience: Cultivation, Uses and Tasting suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Guided Lavender Experience: Cultivation, Uses and Tasting?

+

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ensenada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ensenada and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Guided Lavender Experience: Cultivation, Uses and Tasting start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ensenada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ensenada?

+

On Outty we rank every Ensenada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guadalupe Valley Wine Route Tour in Baja California, Couple Tour, Private Wine Tour at Valle de Guadalupe (A wine tasting included).. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ensenada?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ensenada?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
