**An Unforgettable Day Exploring Iceland’s Natural Wonders**

We had a wonderful excursion to the glacier lagoon, including stops at two beautiful waterfalls. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and shared fascinating insights about the country throughout the trip. They were also very attentive to everyone’s individual needs, making the experience enjoyable and comfortable for all guests. I highly recommend this tour—it was an unforgettable experience!

    Wonderful

Wonderful but long. 14+ hr day so prepare for it. Individual stops were amazing but because of the number of stops, not a lot of time. But I would rather have all the stops with shorter time.

    Extremely long tour be...

Extremely long tour be prepared, our Driver Dylan was exceptional very knowledgeable on where we were what we were seeing, a lot of stops for bathroom and food. Some could be a little longer a little rushed when eating supper. Wish they had the hotel. Pickup had to walk pretty good distance to the Pickup point but did drop us off closer to hotel after the tour ended.

Response from the operator: Dear James, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour and that Dylan’s knowledge and informative commentary made the long journey engaging and enjoyable. It’s also great to know you appreciated the regular stops for refreshments and comfort breaks along the way. We appreciate your comments regarding the pace of the evening meal stop. As this is one of our longest tours, we do our best to balance travel time with opportunities to experience each destination, but we understand that some guests would prefer a little more time. Regarding pickup, due to Reykjavík city regulations, large tour buses are not permitted to collect guests directly from most hotels. Instead, designated nearby bus stops are used to ensure safe and efficient operations. We’re pleased that we were able to drop you off closer to your hotel at the end of the day. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure in Iceland. Warm regards, Rute

Excellent way to see the southern coast of Iceland

Dori was knowledgeable and affable, on time and relaxed at the same time! The day was long but well paced except that the time spent at the glacial lagoon could have been shorter (allowing more time at other sites) if we didn’t have to accommodate the minority who went boating around the icebergs It would be nice if those that were boating were on a separate tour

Response from the operator: Dear Traveler, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your day and that Dori’s knowledge, friendly personality, and relaxed approach helped make the journey so enjoyable. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the time spent at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. As the optional boat tour is part of the itinerary for guests who choose to book it, the schedule is planned to accommodate both those joining the boat excursion and those exploring the lagoon on foot. We understand that you would have preferred more time at some of the other stops, and we truly value your suggestion as we continually review our tour experiences. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to Dori. Thank you again for travelling with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure in Iceland. Warm regards, Rute

    Great Tour!!

It was our first visit and we had booked our trip through Icelandia. Dori was our driver and guide. He provided information on all of the stops during our trip, and we learned a lot about Iceland.

We’re delighted that you chose Icelandia for your first visit to Iceland and that you had such a positive experience with us. It’s fantastic to hear that Dori’s guidance and informative commentary helped you learn more about Iceland and the places you visited along the way. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to him, and we know he’ll be delighted to hear them. Thank you again for travelling with us. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure in Iceland. Warm regards, Rute

Guided Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach Day Trip from Reykjavik: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does Guided Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach Day Trip from Reykjavik cost?

    +

Prices start at $185 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Guided Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach Day Trip from Reykjavik take?

    +

Plan for about 14.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is Guided Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach Day Trip from Reykjavik worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 637 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Guided Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach Day Trip from Reykjavik?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Guided Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach Day Trip from Reykjavik suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Guided Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach Day Trip from Reykjavik?

    +

Around 223 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 14.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Guided Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach Day Trip from Reykjavik start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
