    Delicious cheese and chocolate tour!

Overall, a tour is the best way to see these attractions as the train will take significantly longer. Gabor was personable and friendly, and the schedule was adhered to. Timing could be worked on- we were ready exact at the pickup time but there was a 15-20 minute delay in picking us up and we had to drop someone off at the airport at the end which made the time constrained. I just had some of the cheese at home which I got at the Gruyere factory and it is delicious! Museum is informative. You definitely need more than an hour to fully enjoy the chocolate factory (which in my opinion is the best attraction of the trip), maybe 90 mins to 2 hours would have been better. The factory tour started late and cut into the time further, which was frustrating but on the positive side they give unlimited samples and the experience is unique and engaging. The medieval village doesn't have independent artists for the most part (except the bean to bar which was excellent) and is a bit touristy in the shops. The views around the castle are beautiful and the castle is worth seeing. I didn't mind but should note that the chocolate factory, cheese factory, medieval village and castle are not guided by Gabor- you go at your own pace with the audio guides. There is the option to enjoy lunch with the group, which is nice.

Can’t Go Wrong with Cheese and Chocolate

This was such a fun tour. The cheese factory was fun, it was great seeing the factory. We had a wonderful fondue lunch in the town of Gruyere. The chocolate tour was even more fun. And they give you so many samples at the end of the chocolate tour that I was stuffed. It was a really fun day!!!

Chocolate and Cheese, what more do you need?

Our guide was wonderful and this was a small group of 5 in a van. Timing was a bit rushed due to large groups also in the area and trying to get through the attractions and gift shop lines (cheese and chocolate). Having 15 more minutes at both of these stops would have been perfect. The chocolate tour was excellent (felt like Disney World), although the cheese tour our on by the factory was underwhelming. The samples were precut and felt very corporate.

    Amazing tour

We absolutely loved the chocolate and cheese tour! Our tour guide, Gabor, was fantastic and made the experience both fun and informative. We really enjoyed learning about how the cheese and chocolate are made, and the visit to the castle was a wonderful bonus. A great experience from start to finish-we highly recommend this tour.
