    Worst of worstest

It was such a horrible experience and complete disappointment to our expectations. We are a young family with 13 months old baby excited to go for a great ocean road tour. By unfortunate luck we had to book with this terrible company, we were asked to take a separate ticket for our baby valued $200 stating baby would get separate seat. We mentioned and insisted that we would need a baby car seat but they said that it was not needed for the Mercedes Sprinter Bus they use for the trip. We were asked to keep baby on the laps. However we were informed we could make our own arrangements if we were particular. We clearly stated we couldn’t arrange one and they would need to sort it out, if it is necessary by law. Their driver name ‘Michael’ created a group day before and discussed about pickup plan and occupants of our family and mentioned that child seat is required. We once again mentioned about earlier discussion and informed if it was mandatory they couldn’t arrange one, they could cancel the tour and refund the money. the driver said he would do some arrangements or keep the baby in between us. On the day of the tour, as soon as he saw us, he commented saying baby is too small and they would need car seat, lack communication happened with the tour operator. We asked what should we do now, he asked us to board the bus and tricked by putting seatbelt to the baby along with the pram seat, for which our baby didn’t comply and started crying so badly. He dint let us think for while, he was actually breaking law by playing smart cheap tricks. Her started commenting that “baby is the problem” this particular line hurt us so badly. He was forcing “baby should sit in the pram seat or he cannot start the tour” by getting very close to the baby, which triggered baby more and cried very intensely. Since we were last to be picked, we rushed to start promptly but he said they are already 15 mins late and he cannot wait and had to reject us because baby was crying. He dint even give us time to settle down. We asked us to give some space and few mins time. He kept on arguing and said we cannot speak anything to him and only he gets to decide what he wants to do. Which was very rude and inappropriate insult behaviour. He was an Asian without proper communication and understanding skills to treat with courtesy and respect, we felt we were verbally racially abused. At this point we were totally embarrassed before others, broken down and mind lost all excitement and was total mood spoiled. We were then made to get down of the bus. While we raised an issue to the tour operator, they were one sided supporting their driver and his decision. They had no accountability, but very inappropriate behaviour to their customers by just without no proper listening and analyse escalating issues. They sent very rude emails saying they cannot do anything and we could do whatever we wanted and they cannot refund us because it was our mistake not to comply with the law. They tried to eat our $450 for nothing. We filed a formal complaint through GetYourGuide and managed to get our money back but who’ll pay for the mental peace. Please don’t ever go ahead with these lying fraudsters.

    Good experience

The drive and the scenery along the road were spectacular. We were able to spot Kangaroos, Koala in the wild. Only the weather was not great

Great Ocean Road Tour in Reverse

Driver and Tour Guide, Michael is very friendly, hospitable and helpful. He checked all his customers a day before the tour and made sure of the meeting/ pick-up location and time. He updated regularly at every stop. It was a very pleasant trip with nice weather (which means no rain)

Great Ocean Road DeepTour 10 Stops 12 Apostles London Bridge: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Melbourne.

How much does Great Ocean Road DeepTour 10 Stops 12 Apostles London Bridge cost?

    +

Prices start at $62 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Melbourne usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Great Ocean Road DeepTour 10 Stops 12 Apostles London Bridge take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Melbourne is not rushed.

Is Great Ocean Road DeepTour 10 Stops 12 Apostles London Bridge worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 42 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Melbourne, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Great Ocean Road DeepTour 10 Stops 12 Apostles London Bridge?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Great Ocean Road DeepTour 10 Stops 12 Apostles London Bridge suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Great Ocean Road DeepTour 10 Stops 12 Apostles London Bridge?

    +

Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Melbourne can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Melbourne and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Great Ocean Road DeepTour 10 Stops 12 Apostles London Bridge start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Melbourne within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Melbourne?

    +

On Outty we rank every Melbourne experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Melbourne: Yarra Valley Wine, Gin, Whisky and Chocolate Tour, Yarra Valley Wine Tour w Exclusive Gin, Cider & Chocolate Tasting, Yarra Valley Wine Tour from Melbourne - Choc, Gin & Good Times. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Melbourne?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Melbourne?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
