Horrible experience dealing with this company.

Horrible experience dealing with this company. Find another place to crush grapes... I booked a tour with them several months in advance. It was part of my overseas trip from New Zealand to complete a bucket list item. Less than 48 hours before my tour, they cancelled and provided no reason for the cancellation. My trip did not allow me to do any of the other days later in the week which they offered. When I recommended alternative days and explained how I travelled from New Zealand to complete a bucket list item at their farm, they rudely replied by telling me to go do it in New Zealand instead. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Response from the operator: Dear Dave, We are truly sorry that this cancellation was necessary and can assure you that it was for personal reasons that could not have been avoided by the small team at our family farm. We are also extremely sorry that you found our reply rude and want to assure you that it was not our intention at all. You told us that you were disappointed by the cancellation and that this was a bucket list item for you. Since we couldn't accommodate your travel schedule with any of the other dates we offered, we tried to be helpful by researching vineyards offering grape stomps that you could book back at home after your trip so you could cross this item off your list. Please believe us when we tell you that we wanted nothing more than to stomp some grapes and sing some French drinking songs with you that day.

    Grape stomp in Provence

We had a wonderful time at the grape stomp. Johann made the experience very fun and enjoyable. The charcuterie and games afterwards were terrific. Johann is the perfect host - warm, knowledgeable and entertaining. Would highly recommend this activity (and any other activity offered by Les Pastras)!!

How long does Grape Stomping in Provence take?

    +

Is Grape Stomping in Provence worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Avignon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Grape Stomping in Provence suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Grape Stomping in Provence?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Avignon and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Avignon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Avignon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
