   Once you are in the car and we have not adopted the 2-in-1 scheme, your dedicated professional guide will give you his full attention. He will provide an appropriate introduction to set the scene for the best performance to come, which will only be interrupted occasionally by scenes of interest along the way, which he will contextualise for you. Early in the morning, move on to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) Complex, the largest museum in the world dedicated to one civilisation. It is a great place to start your day, surrounded by artefacts and objects that reflect the grandeur this nation once enjoyed. You will enjoy seeing the grand open court, the museum's main entrance area, which features the world's only hanging obelisk belonging to King Ramses II. Explore the exterior gardens surrounding the museum. Take in the scenic views and appreciate the building's architectural beauty.

2. Gran Museu Egipci

   Step into the Grand Hall of the museum. Take in the grandeur of the hall and admire the informative displays and exhibits, which provide an overview of the museum's history and significance. Gaze at the magnificent colossal statue of Ramses II, carved from a single piece of red granite, which stands to greet visitors. Take part in any interactive activities or presentations in the Grand Hall to deepen your understanding of Egypt's rich cultural heritage. Follow the knowledgeable guide who will provide insights into the museum's layout and design. Moving on to the Grand Staircase, you will walk through large statues and other objects related to kingship, temples and gods. You will be impressed by their scale and magnificence, and your journey will end with a panoramic view of the Giza Pyramids. The guide won't rush you at all!    The main galleries of the GEM are amazing, featuring 18 halls. Here, you will find a dazzling collection of over 8,000 ancient artefacts, newly showcased. 4. Gran Museu Egipci

   Tutankhamen Galleries Step inside the Tutankhamen Galleries and transcend the boundaries of his fabled tomb. Immerse yourself in the extraordinary story of the Golden Pharaoh, who came to power around 1336 BC and ruled until 1327 BC. This once-in-a-lifetime exhibition sees the entire Tutankhamen collection displayed together under one roof for the first time in history. Discover over 5,000 invaluable artefacts that were placed beside the young king to guide him on his eternal journey. Among these magnificent treasures are objects of royal splendour, used in sacred rituals and state ceremonies, as well as deeply personal belongings, including jewellery, fine garments, exquisite furniture, provisions, chariots and weapons. Each item reveals an intimate portrait of Tutankhamen's life, reign and afterlife.

5. Grand Egyptian Museum

   King Khufu’s Solar Boat Museum Discover the awe-inspiring legacy of the Solar Boat Museum, home to two magnificent royal vessels that were unearthed beside the Great Pyramid in 1954. One of these ancient masterpieces has been fully restored, while the second is undergoing meticulous conservation and reassembly — offering visitors a rare opportunity to witness archaeology in action. The museum reveals the pivotal role of the boats in ancient Egyptian religion, navigation and royal funerary traditions. It illustrates how they were crafted to carry the pharaoh’s soul across the Nile into eternity. Through immersive displays, visitors can explore the advanced shipbuilding techniques used to construct the boats, their symbolic connection to the sun god Ra, and their enduring significance in ancient trade, culture and engineering.

6. Then, if you wish, you can move on to the delicious part of the tour and sample some authentic traditional Egyptian cuisine. You can choose to eat kushari, a special combination of rice, noodles, chickpeas, lentils, fried onions and tomato sauce. Alternatively, you can try shawarma, which consists of spit-roasted layers of lamb, beef or other meat that are sliced and often served in or with pita bread. Or you can try falafel sandwiches, which consist of deep-fried balls or patties made from chickpeas or fava beans, or fava bean and baba ganoush sandwiches, which are made of blended eggplant, tahini, garlic, lemon juice and salt. At the end of your tour, we will drive you back to your hotel.
