Pyramids of Giza
I took the trip last year, and one of the best experiences I had in Egypt was meeting people like Taha, a great person and an excellent tour guide. Totally recommended

Much more than a guide, an unforgettable experience.
We cannot be more grateful to Taha. From the very first moment, he made us feel comfortable and ensured that our visit to the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum was much more than just a simple tour. His knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm made each explanation fascinating. Without a doubt, it has been one of the best experiences of our trip. Thank you, Taha, for your dedication and for giving us memories that we will never forget!

I have traveled all over the world and have never met a guide like Taha.
I have traveled to many countries and have had the opportunity to take countless guided tours, but I can say with complete sincerity that I have never encountered a guide like Taha. Our tour of the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum was absolutely exceptional. Taha not only possesses impressive knowledge about the history and culture of ancient Egypt, but he also has the gift of conveying it with passion, warmth, and great enthusiasm. Each explanation was interesting, clear, and full of details that brought everything to life before our eyes. In addition to being a great professional, he is a kind, attentive, patient person who is always mindful of ensuring that everyone is comfortable and enjoying the experience to the fullest. Thanks to him, this visit was not just a tourist trip, but one of the most special memories of our travels. And this is said by someone who travels frequently and has met many guides around the world: I have never had a guide like Taha. If you have the opportunity to take this tour with him, do not hesitate for a second. He will turn your visit to Egypt into a unique and unforgettable experience. Thank you, Taha, for making this day something truly extraordinary!

Perfect planning for our trip
We were fortunate to come across Nilora in our planning for our Egypt trip. Selim was patient in building us the perfect three days of tours, excellently executed by our guide Ahmed and safely driven by our driver Ahmed. These included the Giza pyramids & GEM, then Saqqara, Dahshur, Memphis + Nile Felucca at Sunset and finally a long full day to Alexandria. Lots of great memories, laughs, time spent for taking photographs, and ensuring we were fully educated whilst we took in the awe of our surroundings. Would highly recommend, and can’t thank Nilora enough for all their assistance.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your beautiful review. We’re truly happy you enjoyed your time with us and that Ahmed helped make your experience special. Creating wonderful memories for you was our pleasure. We sincerely appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again in the future. Warm regards Selim

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Grand Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Grand Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Grand Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Grand Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Grand Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Grand Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Grand Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Grand Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
