So many wonderful to see
Our overall experience was amazing worth every moment and as mentioned our guide was very helpful. We were the only two in our group so we arrange different options to suit ourselves. Our length of cost covered two weeks and with so much going on (although we did have rest days) felt longer. As mentioned it was only us two so we had nothing to compare it too. The only crowd size was at the various attractions like Lions Rock and various temples we visted

Great introduction to Sri Lanka’s history
A fantastic experience which provides an overall flavour of Sinhalese culture, geography and wildlife. It’s varied , covers the whole country ( we chose not to go to the far north) and enables you to get a real feel for the country and its people. Sujeewa as our tour guide provided a first class commentary as we navigated Sri Lanka’s treacherous driving culture.

Exotic Perla made our dream become reality!
When we booked this holiday with Exotic Perla, I had no idea of what to expect. We left Western Australia in the coldness of winter and emerged into Sri Lanka to the warmest welcome by our brilliant guide Buddhika. We have chosen the 12 day Breathtaking Experience. From the moment we met, Buddhika has gone out of his way to show us the beautiful country he calls home. His depth of knowledge about Sri Lankan history has been absolutely impressive. I have learnt so much about the tenacity of these beautiful people. Everywhere we have gone, we have been greeted with smiles. The hotels we have stayed in have been in stunning locations from beach front to rain forrest. Every tour we have been on has been organised with care. We have snorkelled and seen beautiful coral and fish at Trincomalee. Had a dawn hike to watch the sun rise from Isurumuniya Rock Temple. Visited sacred Buddhist temples and the Bohdi Tree at Anuradhapura. Admired ancient paintings in caves where Buddha sleeps. Marvelled at the colourful Hindu temples. The food we have eaten has been mouthwatering, and we have learnt how to prepare Sri Lankan curry powder and how to grate fresh coconut.... train rides, tuk tuk rides, ox cart rides, boat rides through mangrove forests and lotus ponds... so many beautiful memories created. We could not have had a better guide than Buddhika for the entire 12 days. He has made us laugh, is a fountain of knowledge, and we were so touched at his suprise birthday cake and beers for John! I think we can now call him friend! He has been a superb driver - we travelled in comfort in his BYD.... we can not thank him and Exotic Perla enough for making this dream come true! An amazing tour that exceeded our expectations!
This amazing tour around Sri Lanka was filled with adventure, safaris, wildlife, culture, history, hiking, natural beauty and relaxing on the beach. We were met at Colombo airport by Jagath, our private tour guide and driver who made us feel instantly welcome. Throughout the tour, Jagath was always prompt, reliable, helpful and extremely informative. His knowledge of Sri Lanka was exceptional. We were even lucky enough to be the first tour in his brand new car and we felt completely safe and comfortable driving to each destination. We also appreciated the cool aircon and complimentary bottled water each day. We were very happy with the selection of hotels we stayed at, some more so than others, and they included a great selection of dishes for breakfast and dinner. All the excursions on this tour were a great way to experience all that Sri Lanka has to offer, and we loved every minute of it! This tour truly exceeded our expectations. We would especially like to thank Sachin for all his help leading up to the trip and Jagath for being our brilliant guide and friend along the way.
