About this experience

Good place. Bad water
The place itself was awesome. But my 9 year old swallowed water and we’re now in the hospital overnight in Chiang Mai with a stomach infection Poor kid was vommiting and diarreah for 4 days
Response from the operator: Dear N9372J, Thank you for your review, and we’re truly sorry to hear about your child’s experience. While we’re glad you found the park itself enjoyable, we deeply regret the health issue your child faced however this can not be blamed to the park without proof. This also can be food poisoning, a bug etc. Guest safety and well-being are of the utmost importance, and we will forward your feedback to the park management. We hope your child recovers quickly and fully. Please take care! Thank you, Paul

Really fun day out!
We loved it here! 1. Wakeboarding was so much fun - booked a two hr private for the family and it was great. 2. Get there early. We got there for 9am and the place was empty - had the place mostly to ourselves for the first few hours. It got really busy in the afternoon. 3. The food was really good - I had the peanut curry and it was delicious! Lots of options and reasonable pricing. 4. Massages were quite good - great if the kids want to keep going but you need a break! 5. You can book a lifeguard for 300baht/ hr if you are nervous about your kids. We were fine and thought all the lifeguards were doing a good job but it’s available if you’re nervous. 6. I was nervous about being sick from the water but we were all fine and the kids definitely got it in their mouths etc. We struggled to get a bolt/ grab for the journey home at 5.30pm when it was closing so you might want to book something in advance so you aren’t left waiting.
Response from the operator: Dear colimm, Thank you for your detailed and positive review! We’re thrilled to hear you and your family had such a great time at Grand Canyon Water Park. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed the wakeboarding, the delicious food (peanut curry is a favorite!), and even took advantage of the massage services. We appreciate your tips for other visitors, like arriving early and the option to book a personal lifeguard for added peace of mind. We’re also glad to hear you found the water quality reassuring. We hope to welcome you and your family back for another fun-filled day soon! Thanks Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Good day out full of sun and fun
This place is fun, we stayed the whole day and enjoyed it very much. I don t know why people write bad reviews based on their injuries. If you re not in a good fit, don t go to this places. Food and drinks were nice and affordable.
Response from the operator: Hi Vadrian93 Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that you had a full day of fun and enjoyed the food and drinks at the park. Your perspective is appreciated, and we’re glad you found everything enjoyable and affordable. We hope to see you again for another adventurous day! Thanks Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Grand Canyon Water Park Entry Pass: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.
How much does Grand Canyon Water Park Entry Pass cost?
+
Prices start at $1300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Grand Canyon Water Park Entry Pass take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.
Is Grand Canyon Water Park Entry Pass worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Grand Canyon Water Park Entry Pass?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Grand Canyon Water Park Entry Pass suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Grand Canyon Water Park Entry Pass?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Grand Canyon Water Park Entry Pass start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?
+
On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
