For any with mobility...

For any with mobility issues there are quite a number of steps and inclines to walk up. The visit to the rose factory, winery and loukoum producers were very good and informative. However, the visit to the smoked meat shop was probably a waste of time and would have preferred some time on our own in Laneia which was a lovely village. The driver chose the venue for lunch which was on a road with no particular views. It would have been nice to have a choice. Overall would recommend this experience although with reservations as noted above.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We're really glad you enjoyed the rose factory, the winery and the loukoumi producers. The smoked meat stop is part of this gourmet tour — it's there to give a full taste of local Cypriot produce. We do take your point about Laneia, and we'll look at how we can allow a little free time to explore such a lovely village. Thank you for the honest comments and the recommendation — we hope to welcome you on another EOS tour soon!

It delivers what it promises and more.

Highly recommend. Each stop was a unique experience of homemade produce and a step back in time especially in the village of Lania at the beginning. An authentic lunch in the well known " Linari Taverna" certainly delivered before our wine tasting later in the afternoon. Well done Eva..and thank you.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊 We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the trip, the stops, and the charming atmosphere of Lania village. It’s great to know that lunch at Linari Taverna and the wine tasting left such a pleasant impression. We look forward to seeing you again! 🍷🌿

Great and very friendly guide! The stops are very well chosen. All kinds of treats included. You pay for lunch yourself, but it is cheap and also very delicious.

A fabulous day trip not to be missed

Picked up in small people carrier from our hotel by Vlad. As we were the only people on the tour we had his undivided attention. His knowledge of the island and it's history was excellent and he kept us entertained with facts and anecdotes. He was also an excellent driver. From a visit to the village of Laneia where we tasted some beautiful wine and purchased a bottle to bring back, we then went to Agros village. Here we visited the traditional sweets company Nikhe (sampled many delicios items), the Rose factory (the pure rose scent was so relaxing) and Kafkalia deli to sample smoked meats. Next we had a superb lunch at a traditional family restaurant called Makris. An added bonus was a visit to Cyprus Chocolates, where Katerina was so welcoming and knowledgeable, teaching us about pure 100% dark chocolate as well as the other beautiful chocolates they produce. Finally we visited another larger winery The Lambouri winery - LionSpirit. Again we were giving a history of the winery and tasted some lovely wines. All in all this was an amazing day's tour and we can highly recommend it.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a warm and detailed review! We are absolutely delighted to hear that your day with Vlad left you with so many positive impressions. We’re proud of his knowledge, attentiveness to our guests, and of course, his excellent driving skills! We’re very happy that you enjoyed visiting the villages of Laneia and Agros – they truly are special places full of charm. It's wonderful that you got to taste delicious wine, traditional sweets, fragrant rose products, and local delicacies. A special thank you for mentioning the lunch at Makris restaurant and your visit to Cyprus Chocolates – Katerina really has a passion for what she does and loves sharing it with others! And of course, we’re thrilled that you also enjoyed your time at Lambouri Winery. Thank you for choosing us and for your kind recommendation. We would love to welcome you back to Cyprus again soon! 🌞🍷🌸

A must do day trip into the mountains

A lovely day out, up in to the mountain. Visited Lania a small village our group was just four of us and travelled in a people carrier. Went to a sweet factory, traditional smoke meat shop and other places in the Trodos mountain range. Our driver was very knowledgable on everything from the plants to the geoology. And she also took us to a small restaurant for lunch in the mountains. I can imagine this trip in the summer is a must as the mountains are pleasantly cooler, than the beaches.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We're very happy to hear you had a lovely day exploring the Troodos Mountains. It sounds like the small group setting made for a more intimate and enjoyable journey. The visit to Lania, the sweet factory, and the traditional smoke meat shop must have been great highlights. We're glad you appreciated the guide and the peaceful mountain atmosphere, especially with the cooler temperatures. We agree—it's a perfect escape from the summer heat. We hope to see you again on another adventure soon!

Gourmet Cyprus Tour – Local Flavors & Wine from Paphos: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paphos.

How much does Gourmet Cyprus Tour – Local Flavors & Wine from Paphos cost?

+

Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paphos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Gourmet Cyprus Tour – Local Flavors & Wine from Paphos take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paphos is not rushed.

Is Gourmet Cyprus Tour – Local Flavors & Wine from Paphos worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paphos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Gourmet Cyprus Tour – Local Flavors & Wine from Paphos?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Gourmet Cyprus Tour – Local Flavors & Wine from Paphos suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Gourmet Cyprus Tour – Local Flavors & Wine from Paphos?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paphos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paphos and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Gourmet Cyprus Tour – Local Flavors & Wine from Paphos start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paphos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paphos?

+

On Outty we rank every Paphos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Troodos Mountains Villages: All Inclusive Food & Wine Day Tour, Blue Lagoon Cruise with Sightseeing from Latchi Harbour, Wave Dancer Half Day BBQ Cruise - All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paphos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paphos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
