About this experience
Our Ecotour begins with a tour in electric golf carts departing from the ranch to the fruit orchard. At the first stop we will visit the Iguanario, sanctuary of the rhinoceros iguana, a species native to the Dominican Republic. Our tour will take us to the organic orchard and fruit garden at an ecological level. There we can taste the freshness and authentic flavor of nature in its purest expression. Then we move to Playa Escondida, a paradisiacal environment where the old facilities of the historic Hotel Beach Resort and Club Punta Cana are located. Finally, we arrive at the ecological reserve to enjoy a refreshing swim in the Inrinri lagoon, a spring within the jungle of Punta Cana, in Los Ojos indigenous.

Just OK, but alot of waiting around
Don't like to complain for the sake of complaining but this was JUST OK and I will tell you why - Pickup, on time, we were first so meant 45 mins on bus - Drop off at venue and then wait a further 45 mins for other party - Golf cart to see 4 x eagles in a pen, bees (taste honey) and see half a dozen iguanas (5 mins at each venue). Limited info shared and directed to read information board. - Onto conservation information area but encouraged and rushed into a shop - Golf buggy ride to ruins of first Punta Cana hotel and left to wander its beach for 30mins...we enjoyed this as quiet, on our own, not rushed and saw crabs, fish and seabirds - Golf buggy to natural lake. 10 min walk from buggy but lovely and clear. 3 jumps in and then taken back to start for melon and pineapple -45 min wait for bus -45 min bus journey back Overall OK, could have been more info shared and slicker wait times but we needed to be out of sun and away from snorkling or crowded beaches today 😉 However they missed the opportunity to thrive on the ecological aspect and share information and interact more
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving. We would like to clarify that the transfer time from hotels to our base is approximately 43 minutes each way, which is part of the total door-to-door duration of the experience, as indicated in the tour description . During this process, scheduled pickups are organized to ensure proper logistics for all guests. We are sorry to hear that the waiting times impacted your overall experience. Your comments have been noted and will be taken into account to further optimize our coordination and reduce waiting times. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the level of information provided during the tour. This is a key aspect of our experience, and we will reinforce it with our team to enhance the ecological and educational value of the activity. We’re glad to know you enjoyed parts of the experience, especially the beach and the natural lagoon. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better experience.

A little adventure in nature away from the crowds.
If you want to learn about the ecology and help support local sustainability efforts and wildlife all while being in nature and exploring a beautiful beach with a refreshing swim at a hidden cenote then you’ll find it all here. We had a great time and met some wonderful locals and tourists.

Limited Golf Cart Riding
Golf cart part of the tour is limited. Some walking is required to the natural lagoon about 10 minutes. Learning about the bees and tasting honey was the best. For those with limited walking ability there is a smaller lagoon. Really pretty. Overall decent tour. Guide was super friendly and he went over and above to accommodate my husband who had a bad back and limited walking ability. Provided fresh fruit skewers at the end of the tour.

Fun golf carts. 10 minutes walk tovfirar ceynotes
We were looking for a way that my husband with no limited mobility could see the ceynotes. Unfortunately you still have to be able to walk in about 10 minutes and it was just too difficult with the heat. It would be great if the park could make an accessible entrance for people with disabilities. An accessible insurance for people with disabilities It was fun riding around in the golf cart and our guide was awesome. We got to go to a pretty little beach and taste. Our tour package also included the transportation. We were about 45 minutes away so that saved us the cost of an Uber. We did not take the bus back just because it was a long ride with dropping everybody off at their resorts and we wanted to stay and eat at playa Blanca. Be aware that you cannot get an Uber inside the resort.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and found the included transportation helpful. It's also great to know that you liked the guide and had the opportunity to visit the beach and enjoy the tasting. We appreciate your suggestions and will continue working to improve our services to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of our visitors. We hope to welcome you back in the future!

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Golf Cart Eco Tour Half Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.
How much does Golf Cart Eco Tour Half Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Golf Cart Eco Tour Half Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.
Is Golf Cart Eco Tour Half Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Golf Cart Eco Tour Half Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Golf Cart Eco Tour Half Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Golf Cart Eco Tour Half Day Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Golf Cart Eco Tour Half Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?
+
On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Punta Cana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
