Above all expectations! It's an amazing journey!
(Starting in English. My review in Russian – at the bottom) My family (two older teenagers, my elderly parents, my husband and I) went on a cruise to Iceland that stopped at Akureyri and isafjordur, and ended at Reykjavik. We decided to stay at Reykjavik for a few more days. We all have slightly different interests and walk at very different speeds (my mom can't walk fast, or far) so I wanted to have private tours everywhere to accommodate our different needs. My parents and I have lived in the US for for a long time but their English is limited and they miss a lot of details during English-language tours and lectures. My kids are fluent in Russian and my husband, though an American, knows enough Russian to function. I wanted to find a Russian-speaking guide so that everyone can get the most of our time in Iceland. We were so happy to find Tatiana, the owner of Aurora Tours! She took us on three full-day tours from Reykjavik and recommended an excellent guide in Akureyri. It was our first vacation where I didn't do any research and relied completely on our tour guides. We couldn't have asked for more! We had a great time and learned so much! Tatiana is wonderful and even went out of her way to take us to the airport 50 minutes away from the city. A testament to the quality of Tatiana's tours: my husband hates organized tours and prefers to go everywhere on his own. He agreed to go with Tatiana to Landmannalaugar because it's an off-road trip and you can't go there in a regular rental car. He liked Tatiana's tour so much that he went with us the next day to the South Coast as well. (And even though she said she doesn't speak much English she was perfectly able to talk to my husband in English.) Now in Russian: As a family (children, 15 and 19, my elderly parents and my husband) we went to Iceland on a cruise that stopped in Akureyri and Eyjafjordur and ended in Reykjavik. We decided to stay in Reykjavik for a few more days. We all have slightly different interests and very different rates of at least (Mommy walks slowly and can't walk far), so I wanted to arrange a private tour so that it could be varied according to our interests and state of health. We've lived in America for a long time, but my parents don't understand English very well, so I was looking for a Russian-speaking guide. We're so glad we found Tatiana! She's an amazing guide. She took us on excursions from Reykjavik for three days and recommended a wonderful guide to Akureyri. Usually I study the place we are going on vacation and design the itinerary myself, but this time I decided to entrust our vacation completely to the tour guide, and Tatiana completely lived up to our expectations! She even offered to take us to the airport, which is a 50-minute drive from the city. My husband hates organized tours, he likes to go everywhere himself so he can spend as much time in every place as he wants. And not to listen to a tour guide who "speaks some nonsense." He agreed to come with us to the Landmannaloigar mountains only because it is off-road and cannot be reached in a regular rented car. The next day, Tatiana was supposed to take us all day to the South Coast, and my husband was going to go on his own. But he loved Tanina's tour so much that he came with us to the South Bank. I didn't expect that at all! We only needed excursions from specific cities, but in principle Tatiana can organize a whole tour: plane tickets, hotels, multi-day tour of the whole island, etc. Whether you are going to Iceland for three days or three weeks, you will be in good hands with her!

Fantastic tour and tour guide!
Aurora Tours made our Icelandic adventure truly spectacular! Tatiana considered every detail to make our journey memorable from the moment she picked us up at the airport. She’s knowledgeable about Icelandic history, geology and science, she’s flexible and will adapt your tour to the ever changing weather, she consistently made amazing restaurants recommendations, and even prepared rain gear for our entire group. Our trip to Iceland would not be the same without her! I recommend Tatiana and Aurora Tours without reservation!

Amazing guide and great experience
Tatiana was an exceptional tour guide who made our 3-day trip around Iceland unforgettable. Her engaging and informative commentary showed her deep knowledge of the country's history, culture, and geology. We were particularly impressed by her ability to tailor the itinerary to our interests, ensuring we saw the most stunning glaciers and waterfalls in the south shore. Thanks to Tatiana's expert navigation and insights into the area's geological wonders, the Golden Circle tour was also a highlight. Her passion for Iceland was contagious, and we felt truly privileged to have her as our guide.

Golden Circle of Iceland, small group, Russian-speaking guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.
How much does Golden Circle of Iceland, small group, Russian-speaking guide cost?
+
Prices start at $872 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Golden Circle of Iceland, small group, Russian-speaking guide take?

Is Golden Circle of Iceland, small group, Russian-speaking guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Golden Circle of Iceland, small group, Russian-speaking guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Golden Circle of Iceland, small group, Russian-speaking guide?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Golden Circle of Iceland, small group, Russian-speaking guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?
+
On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Reykjavik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
