A wonderful Adventure
The whole experience was amazing. We were lucky as we were the only ones booked for the ATV tour. Daria was amazing, super welcoming and guided us through the howling winds. We had never ridden an ATV before but it was easy and very well explained. Ciao Daria! Grazie per averci guidati a casa sani e salvi The Golden tour allowed us to visit 3 beautiful locations, luckily the sky opened up and we had a really nice afternoon. Super raccomended!

Needed more time Off-Road
The female staff were excellent and very friendly. The main guide was OK, but not so friendly. As ATV tours go, it was a little disappointing with regard to the time spent off-road. Base Camp to the off-road section, was about 2/3rds of the trip and was spent driving along regular roads. 1/3rd of the time was off-road. I expected, lots of rough terrain, crossing or driving through waters, but was disappointed. Views from the top of the hill were great, and Hannah was very good at talking to people and taking pics for for them. The other guide needs to take some lessons in interaction with his guests. This probably seems quite a negative review, but I have done 12-15 ATV tours in different countries, and this was probably the least enjoyable in terms of an off road driving experience. Advice - base camp is in the wrong place and should be closer to the off road area, giving more time to actually drive off road. Positives - the girls were very friendly and helpful. Equipment was excellent hygienic. ATV's looked well looked after. Sorry guys, but I would do it again.
Response from the operator: Hi there, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your honest feedback—we genuinely appreciate it. We’re really pleased to hear that you found our female staff friendly and helpful, and that Hannah made a great impression with her engaging approach and photo assistance. We’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to her and the rest of the team. We're also glad the equipment and ATVs met your expectations in terms of cleanliness and maintenance—our team works hard to ensure everything is kept in top shape. That said, we’re sorry to hear that the off-road portion of the tour didn’t quite match your expectations. We understand how important the thrill of off-roading is—especially for someone with as much ATV experience as yourself. While our current route is designed to balance accessibility and safety, we do take your feedback seriously and are actively reviewing how we might optimize the experience, including route adjustments to reduce time spent on paved roads. Regarding your comments about our main guide, we value all guest interactions and will follow up with our team to ensure every guide reflects the friendly, welcoming atmosphere we aim to provide across the board. Thank you again for sharing both the positives and the areas where we can improve. Feedback like yours is what helps us grow and deliver better experiences to future guests. All the best, Safari Quads

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Golden Circle & ATV Adventure from Reykjavik–Full Day Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.
How much does Golden Circle & ATV Adventure from Reykjavik–Full Day Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $185 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Golden Circle & ATV Adventure from Reykjavik–Full Day Experience take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.
Is Golden Circle & ATV Adventure from Reykjavik–Full Day Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Golden Circle & ATV Adventure from Reykjavik–Full Day Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Golden Circle & ATV Adventure from Reykjavik–Full Day Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Golden Circle & ATV Adventure from Reykjavik–Full Day Experience?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Golden Circle & ATV Adventure from Reykjavik–Full Day Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?
+
On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Reykjavik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
