Each of the four seasons appears within a single day in Ba Na: spring in the morning, summer at noon, autumn in the afternoon and winter at night. One particular characteristic is that the clouds are at the mid-height of the mountain, so the peaks are always clear. Ba Na also possesses very beautiful forests with green pine hills that why it is home to a former French resort built in the early 1920s, which once boasted 200 villas, restaurants, and clubs. Its temperate climate, unspoiled forest, and spectacular views over the East Sea and the Lao mountain range made Ba Na a popular place to retreat for the French and wealthy Vietnamese.

Guide don’t seem to know where to go

The guide was on time with the driver but every thing else went off track. It was to be a private tour but we arrived at Ba na hill with the guide leading us wrong way not once but 3 times as he seems so uncertain of the way around Ba na hill

Tour to Ba Na Mountains with Simply Vietnam Travel

Sun World at Ba Na Hills is a brilliant place, the cable car is second only to China's Zhangziagie in length at 6.5 km long. The tour was a litle rushed, certainly around the Golden Bridge level, where the crowds prevented a lot of time to take photos, however you do get 2 hours to your self further up at the French Village level. Our guide Mr No was very good, the bus driver not so good, but then not everyone in Vietnam is.

    Great tour even when wet

Our guide met us at our hotel and we set off in wet condition but even so the trip through the country side was beautiful. We arrived at Ba Na mountain and after our 60 minutes drive it had fined up. The gardens at the foot of Ba Na mountain were lovely. The cable car to the top of Ba Na is special and offers fabulous views but today there was a bit of fog and cloud which we had to pass through. The top of Mt Ba Na is easy to walk about. There are beautiful gardens, tea houses, an amusement park (inside), restaurants, a beautiful church and the Golden Bridge. This trip is a must and is highly recommenced. Our guide was such a fabulous chap we engaged him to give us a walking tour of Hoi An when we returned at 5pm.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hoi An.

How much does GOLDEN BRIDGE&BA NA HILL Private Tour-Early Start to Avoid Crowd cost?

    +

Prices start at $128 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hoi An usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does GOLDEN BRIDGE&BA NA HILL Private Tour-Early Start to Avoid Crowd take?

Is GOLDEN BRIDGE&BA NA HILL Private Tour-Early Start to Avoid Crowd worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hoi An, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule GOLDEN BRIDGE&BA NA HILL Private Tour-Early Start to Avoid Crowd?

Is GOLDEN BRIDGE&BA NA HILL Private Tour-Early Start to Avoid Crowd suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book GOLDEN BRIDGE&BA NA HILL Private Tour-Early Start to Avoid Crowd?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hoi An can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hoi An and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does GOLDEN BRIDGE&BA NA HILL Private Tour-Early Start to Avoid Crowd start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hoi An within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hoi An?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hoi An experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HOI AN Hidden Gems in Rural Villages & River Islands PRIVATE TOUR, Coconut Jungle Eco & Hoi An City Tour With Boat Ride, Cooking Class Hoi An:Local Market, Basket Boat, Fishing & Cooking. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hoi An?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hoi An?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
