Great Tour of Glen Canyon With Matt Bloomfield
Matt Bloomfield has a way of drawing you into his love of the Glen Canyon area and our tour went beyond the typical sightseeing trip because of him. It became an experience that deepened our appreciation for what we were seeing. He took us beyond scenic views to understanding of what we were seeing. Gorges became layers of history and change in the earth and “weeds" were shown to be seeds and grain for the Native Americans. He took us to his favorite locations in the canyon to see the best views and hidden fossils that other visitors were just passing by. He was very intuitive about our abilities and interests and he tailored our tour to give us the best experience possible. We had an amazing day with Matt and are definitely going to take another guided tour with him.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for such a stellar review! We're so happy to hear that Matt helped you to gain a deeper connection with Glen Canyon during your day of adventuring with him. Thank you for choosing to explore with us!

Beautiful slot canyon hike and Colorado River views, Camilla was a great guide!
We did a full-day hike with Camilla - Beehives to start, and then the Cathedral Lower Wash hike to the Colorado River. We also saw a condor at the Navajo Bridge. Camilla was a wonderful guide - expert, encouraging, knowledgeable, and great company as we saw some amazing sights! She also went above and beyond judging what would work best for us, planning the itinerary, and putting together a very nice picnic lunch as well. We had a great time and highly recommend the experience!
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for an awesome review! It sounds like Camilla was able to provide an awesome trip to Glen Canyon for you. We appreciate you spending your day with us! 🏔️

Unforgettable adventures with breathtaking views
Best guide ever!!! Guided hikes were fantastic - they challenged us just enough. Matt is such a thoughtful guide, so aware of everyone’s physical capacities but wants to ensure you get the most out of your time with him - always willing to impart his vast knowledge and history of the land, geology and culture. We were able to fit in a hike in the Grand Canyon, a hike through cathedral wash with a quick toe dip in the colorado river, horsehoe canyon and upper/lower antelope. And what happens when a few women decide to run a half marathon and your guide loves to run, he joins in and runs alongside with you. Hands down, highly recommend Matt as your go to guide for National Parks. And if that wasn’t enough, he’s also an amazing COOK - from our roadside picnics, to our treasure trove of car snacks, he leaves no stone unturned. Thank you for such an amazing experience - absolutely unforgettable
Response from the operator: What a wonderful day! Matt is amazing! Half Marathon you say? Our guides really do go above and beyond. Thank you for the glowing review. It means so much to us. We hope you will join us on another Good Trip!

Why this scores 48
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Glen Canyon Full Day Private Tour & Hike: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Page.
How much does Glen Canyon Full Day Private Tour & Hike cost?
+
Prices start at $973 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Page usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Glen Canyon Full Day Private Tour & Hike take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Page is not rushed.
Is Glen Canyon Full Day Private Tour & Hike worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Page, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Glen Canyon Full Day Private Tour & Hike?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Glen Canyon Full Day Private Tour & Hike suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Glen Canyon Full Day Private Tour & Hike?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Page can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Page and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Glen Canyon Full Day Private Tour & Hike start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Page within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Page?
+
Page exists for two icons: guided Antelope Canyon slot tours, which are the only legal way in, and Horseshoe Bend overlooks, plus Lake Powell boat trips and Colorado River float runs. On Outty we rank every Page experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lower Antelope Canyon Hiking Tour, Navajo Dinner Theater, Hoop Dancing, and Native Storytelling, Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Overlook. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Page?
+
March to May and September to October; midday canyon slots are best for light beams. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Page?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
