    Disappointed for the arrangement

We booked the tour with Sky lagoon and the guide didn't know that our tour price included the Sky lagoon entrance fee. He asked us to book by ourselves. After I checked my booking and clarified to our guide, he sent me the entrance whatsapp for the entry and told us the booking time is 19:30. That is okay as we know the tour is a little bit hurry. However, when the car returned, we face the traffic jam. It delay a little bit when arriving. I don't understand why the car delivered all others customers to Reykjavik city instead of sending us to Sky lagoon first as the route should be closer to Sky lagoon when returning to Reykjavik. It made us arrival at Sky lagoon on 20:00 which Sky lagoon. Will be closed on 22:00. The rules for entrance is 30 mins up/down. I need to run to the reception. And we just got less than half hour to enjoy the large pool then hurry to finish the 7 steps for sauna and spa.... I think it should be avoided if the car delivery us to Sky lagoon first before returning to Reykjavik. I would like to know why for this arrangement.

Incredible opportunity to hike a glacier

Lorenzo was an excellent guide. You have to do the glacier hike, it is the highlight of the day. Black sand beach very commercial but still good to see, then the two waterfall stops were beautiful. Take your own crampons and waterproofs for the waterfalls - you will get wet! All equipment provided for the hike up the glacier (your Temu special crampons won’t cut it 🤣)

Response from the operator: Thank you! Great tips—and yes, the glacier hike is definitely the highlight for many!

Glacier hike and black beach / waterfalls

Lorenzo was fantastic! So educational, fun, active and really got me to understand and see Iceland’s glaciers and other wonders! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled you had such a fun, educational, and active day with Lorenzo. Helping guests truly understand Iceland’s glaciers and landscapes is something we’re passionate about. Your high recommendation means a lot — thank you!

    Great Experience

The hike was easy enough for me and I loved every minute of it. There were some people who were in their 50s/60s that needed more breaks, and Thomas accommodated them. The views were spectacular and I recommend this tour. After being dropped off at the Sky Lagoon, you get to spend as much time there as you'd like. The only downside is you have to find transportation back to where you are staying. The options were terrible: the bus would take over an hour when the hotel was only about 16 minutes away, and I'm not sure the price since we took a taxi for $50. Just keep that in mind when booking.

How much does Glacier Hike, South Coast Waterfalls, Black Beach & Sky Lagoon cost?

    +

Prices start at $281 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Glacier Hike, South Coast Waterfalls, Black Beach & Sky Lagoon take?

Is Glacier Hike, South Coast Waterfalls, Black Beach & Sky Lagoon worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Glacier Hike, South Coast Waterfalls, Black Beach & Sky Lagoon?

Is Glacier Hike, South Coast Waterfalls, Black Beach & Sky Lagoon suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book Glacier Hike, South Coast Waterfalls, Black Beach & Sky Lagoon?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Glacier Hike, South Coast Waterfalls, Black Beach & Sky Lagoon start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
