One of the best tours I...
One of the best tours I have ever done. The tour guide was very informative, friendly, patient and cheerful. Her positive attitude really made everyone smile. Of course the pyramids and camel ride was outstanding. Highly recommended.

TOTAL SCAM
TOTAL SCAM. The title of the service I hired says “Giza Pyramids & Sphinx with Camel Ride Private tour”. And when I arrived, Hader the guide said the camel ride was not included. We came close to ONE pyramid, she gave me a very brief and basic explanation, then she took me in her car to the panoramic view. Then, I told her I wanted to stay by myself walking by the pyramids (ending the tour) but she insisted to go to the Sphinx. When we arrived, we left the parking and she said she would take me to an “educational spot” about papyrus and lotus flower. But it was no “educational spot”, it was a 10 minute ride away from the pyramids, and it was a store with sellers trying to sell me perfumes, oils and papyrus. I asked to go back, she took me back to the pyramids. It really sucked

Absolutely awful
We were waiting for over 40 minutes for the driver. The guide barely spoke English so we didn't understand ANYTHING and she didn't know the names of the pharaohs so she kept correcting herself constantly, which was even more confusing given that we understood 1 out of the 10 words she said. The guy they work with for the camel ride, kept harassing us for more tips, when we had already given a generous amount. The driver literally left us there and we were waiting under the sun for over 45' because he would not pick up his phone. The guide kept trying to make us go to the camels again because we had no easy of leaving the plateau. Additionally, she kept pushing for us to go to the stores she wanted to shop, and when we refused she kept asking "why?" in a very bad way. At the end after we demanded over 20 times to take us back to the hotel, she made a deal with a horse carriage to take us down to the city, where they left us to walk alone back to the hotel. Terrible experience, completely unprofessional. Just do not book with them.
Response from the operator: Thanks for your feedback. just kindly we would like to inform you that : you booked this tour and you know will be with English speaking guide. they arrived at 08:30 am because was the first day for the schools and the traffic was very busy even we called the customers and told them the guide will be late because of traffic . we offered the carriage for free for them .

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Giza Pyramids & Sphinx with Camel Ride Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Giza Pyramids & Sphinx with Camel Ride Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $9 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Giza Pyramids & Sphinx with Camel Ride Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Giza Pyramids & Sphinx with Camel Ride Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Giza Pyramids & Sphinx with Camel Ride Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Giza Pyramids & Sphinx with Camel Ride Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Giza Pyramids & Sphinx with Camel Ride Private Tour?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Giza Pyramids & Sphinx with Camel Ride Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
