I’ve Traveled to Dozens of Countries—This Was One of the Best Tours I’ve Ever Had ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This private tour was the absolute highlight of my trip to Egypt and one of the best guided experiences I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. As a solo female traveler from the United States, feeling comfortable and safe is incredibly important to me. From the moment I was picked up until the end of the day, I felt completely at ease. Sameh was warm, kind, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure I had an unforgettable experience. I never once felt rushed or uncomfortable, and by the end of the day it felt like I had spent the day exploring Egypt with a friend. I’ve traveled to dozens of countries, and this ranks among the best private tours I’ve ever experienced. Sameh’s knowledge of ancient Egypt is extraordinary. I probably asked a hundred questions throughout the day, and he answered every single one with patience, enthusiasm, and an incredible depth of knowledge. Every answer was thoughtful, detailed, and never felt like a memorized script. His passion for Egypt’s history made every stop even more fascinating. What made this tour exceptional was that it wasn’t just a checklist of famous sites. Sameh pointed out fascinating details I never would have noticed on my own, shared stories that brought everything to life, and took me to places that made the experience feel personal and unforgettable. Throughout the day, multiple security staff and workers at the sites commented that Sameh is one of the best guides in Egypt. After spending the day with him, I completely understand why. A special thank you to my driver, Sherif, as well. The vehicle was spotless, comfortable, and air-conditioned, and navigating Cairo traffic looked effortless. I felt safe and relaxed throughout the entire day. Every part of this experience was organized beautifully. There was never any pressure or rushing, and I always felt like the goal was to make sure I had the best possible experience—not simply move me from one stop to the next. If you’re looking for a private tour in Egypt, this is the one to book. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family, I recommend Sameh and Sherif without hesitation. Thank you both for giving me memories that I’ll treasure forever. You didn’t just show me Egypt—you helped me fall in love with it. Take Care, Brianna

Everyone needs to do this tour
Tawfik was super helpful and very informative! He provided great recommendations and tailored his tour to accommodate my son who was tired from travelling. We both loved ticking off pyramids from our bucket list and the whole day tour with a private driver made it super easy while only in Cairo for the weekend.

Giza Pyramids Grand Egyptian Museum and Nile Dinner Cruise Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.
How much does Giza Pyramids Grand Egyptian Museum and Nile Dinner Cruise Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Giza Pyramids Grand Egyptian Museum and Nile Dinner Cruise Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.
Is Giza Pyramids Grand Egyptian Museum and Nile Dinner Cruise Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Giza Pyramids Grand Egyptian Museum and Nile Dinner Cruise Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Giza Pyramids Grand Egyptian Museum and Nile Dinner Cruise Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Giza Pyramids Grand Egyptian Museum and Nile Dinner Cruise Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Giza Pyramids Grand Egyptian Museum and Nile Dinner Cruise Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cairo?
+
On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Giza Pyramids all inclusive,Sphinx, lunch,Camel, insid pyramid. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cairo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cairo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
