Another Amazing Day with Muhammad – History, Culture, and Great Food
After an incredible first day touring Cairo, we were so glad to spend another day with Muhammad and our driver. This time, he took us to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where we got to see incredible artifacts and learn even more about Egypt’s rich history. We also visited some of the oldest churches in Egypt, including one believed to be where Jesus and his family stayed for three months, as well as the oldest mosque in Africa. It truly felt like we were traveling through time. Muhammad’s knowledge and passion for sharing his country’s history made every stop engaging and meaningful. He answered our questions with patience and depth, and once again, he looked out for us the entire day. Just like before, our driver made sure we were comfortable, with cold drinks always on hand. We also enjoyed shopping for teas, spices, and traditional clothing, which gave us a chance to experience a different side of Egyptian culture. We ended the day with lunch, Egyptian burgers, which were delicious! Just like day one, Muhammad and the team made everything seamless, welcoming, and memorable. Traveling with them feels like exploring with friends who also happen to be experts. We left the day feeling grateful, enriched, and excited for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend!
