Giza Pyramids Adventure Tour with ATV Quad Bike Ride

Our guide, Osama Seyam, arrived on time and began the tour energetically. He shared animated history about the pyramids and explained their significance, describing them as representing the father, son, and grandson. The tour started off strong, and he took photos of us at the first two pyramids. However, as the tour progressed, it began to feel rushed and incomplete. Although he verbally explained everything listed in the itinerary, we expected to physically visit more of the sites described. When I asked about entering the pyramids or getting closer to the Sphinx, I was told, “There’s nothing in them,” and those requests felt dismissed rather than explained. We then stopped at the camel rides, which my aunt requested. This part was enjoyable at first, but after paying approximately $25 per person for the ride, the workers immediately began asking for additional money, even specifying amounts and mentioning their families. This made the situation uncomfortable. The ATV portion was also underwhelming. A younger guide led us, drove very fast, and rarely checked to make sure everyone was keeping up — my aunt and uncle were left far behind several times. When I asked to stop for photos with the pyramids in the background, the request was dismissed. Overall, the ATV experience felt rushed, impersonal, and very different from similar excursions I’ve done in Aruba and Punta Cana, where guides were more interactive and attentive. At the end of the tour, both Osama and the driver (who never formally introduced himself) asked if we had anything we could give them, referring to a tip. I felt a partial tip was appropriate, but not a full one given the experience. This tour had potential and a strong start, but fell short in execution and attentiveness.

Incredible Tour with an Amazing Guide!

Our tour of the Pyramids with Mennah was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating historical details and insights that made the experience truly special. Her passion for Egyptian history was evident, and she made sure we understood the significance of everything we saw. Beyond her expertise, Mennah was also incredibly friendly and engaging, making us feel comfortable and welcome throughout the entire tour. She took the time to answer all our questions and even helped us capture some amazing photos! If you’re booking a tour in Egypt, I highly recommend requesting Mennah—she truly made this an unforgettable experience. Next time I book with this company, I’ll definitely be asking for her again!

Amazing quad ride!!!

I wasn't pleased at all with my tour guide and the way it was handled but the ride itself was really amazing so I actually would book it again! It is incredible to ride in the desert and it is not just flat sand you ride on. You ride on hills, stones and ledges. I loved it!!!! My tour guide was a more busy with texting and smoking than with the actual tour and also I had to wait for a long time before the quads were ready and the first ones broke on our way to the desert so we had to switch them. But as I said, even though all of this happened I would still book it again because the ride was insane!

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, wow! Thank you so much for this great 5-star review. We really appreciate you being a loyal customer and helping to share the word about us. We’re here for you anyonee . Sincerely, Emo Tours Egypt

I highly recommend the quad bike...

I highly recommend the quad bike ride. It was an amazing experience and I would book it again. My tour guide was not that amazing. He was more interested in his phone and smoking than the actual tour. And the orgaisation was very bad. I had to wait in the car for quite some time and the first bikes we rode broke down on our way. When we finally got in the desert it was amazing and the Quad ride tops all the other things that went wrong.

Eventhough I did not have the best experience with the guide and so on I would still book it again and the ride was an amazing experience.

Giza Pyramids Adventure Tours With ATV Quad Bike Ride in Desert: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Giza Pyramids Adventure Tours With ATV Quad Bike Ride in Desert cost?

+

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Giza Pyramids Adventure Tours With ATV Quad Bike Ride in Desert take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Giza Pyramids Adventure Tours With ATV Quad Bike Ride in Desert worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Giza Pyramids Adventure Tours With ATV Quad Bike Ride in Desert?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Giza Pyramids Adventure Tours With ATV Quad Bike Ride in Desert suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Giza Pyramids Adventure Tours With ATV Quad Bike Ride in Desert?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Giza Pyramids Adventure Tours With ATV Quad Bike Ride in Desert start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

+

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
