About this experience
Join our day trip to picturesque Giethoorn in true OUYI TRAVEL style. In a small group with a minimum 5 persons and no larger than 9 persons. With a comfortable Van and take you to one of Holland most breath-taking destinations. Our friendly and professional guide and driver has over 20 years of experience and because we only cater to small groups, there will be plenty of flexibility and quality. With a nice private small boat, we will be able to show you the most beautiful parts of Giethoorn and share interesting stories about it. With a small private boat, we will be able to have enough flexibility to explore much more HIDDEN PEACEFUL PARTS of Giethoorn village along the old canals. With a good experienced boat captain, our guide will be able to drive a small boat fluently and safely through those chaotic " boat traffic jam", then, he will be a bit faster than others and can explore more to see! After that, you will also have ENOUGH time to explore the village at your own leisure.

Wonderful Tour. Highly Rrcimmended.
The.advertised 1 hr canal tour became 2 and would have only been more enjoyable if it were 3 hours. Lovely canal tour and wonderful way to see Giethoorn. And the small group leaving ahead of the big buses meant no crowds and quiet canals. We had a great day!

Fantastic trip! Anzi was...
Fantastic trip! Anzi was a great guide and made sure everyone on the trip was comfortable. A small group in Geithoorn is a great way to experience the small town without losing some of that small town feel.

A magical day in fairyland!
What a day from start to finish! I spent months researching which tour to pick and we are so glad we went with this one. Anzi communicated regularly leading up to the tour and morning of. The ride to Giethoorn was pleasant in his van and filled with interesting commentary. He helped us to navigate around the crowds in the small boat he reserved for us. We had plenty of time for photos (he took some for us!) and to relax and enjoy this fairyland. The lunch stop was a nice place and we ordered drinks, entrees, and dessert. This was the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam! Don’t hesitate to book this tour. For us, avoiding crowds was our most important reason to go (plus seeing somewhere fabulous!) and Anzi made it happen. Ten stars!

Giethoorn Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam (Max. 8 People): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.
How much does Giethoorn Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam (Max. 8 People) cost?
+
Prices start at $116 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Giethoorn Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam (Max. 8 People) take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.
Is Giethoorn Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam (Max. 8 People) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 362 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Giethoorn Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam (Max. 8 People)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Giethoorn Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam (Max. 8 People) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Giethoorn Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam (Max. 8 People)?
+
Around 127 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Giethoorn Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam (Max. 8 People) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?
+
On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amsterdam?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
