About this experience
Once you have been picked up, the coach will take you on a drive along the coastal road to Gibraltar. The city center is long and narrow, extending along Main Street. Much of this bustling high street has been pedestrianized, with strategically placed benches, pavement cafes, and bars offering welcome relief for weary shoppers. Gibraltar offers duty-free prices on many goods in the stores on the famous Main Street. Among the famous British and international shop names, you’ll find many local shops.

AVOID THIS AGENCY!!!
I took the disastrous Granada tour with them the previous day. The ignored me!!! I asked to can do this one and they never got back to me. And I tried to reach out to them in any way possible. Getting to Gibraltar takes forever because they stop everywhere!!! They should just stop in specific areas of the city/town, not in each hotel. When we get to Gibraltar, the tour guide informed to some of us “you only have the shopping tour.” So we were supposed to be there more than 4hs on our own just shopping! Really? So I paid this “tour” only to be a 3hs transportation to go and another 3hs to come back. It wasn’t the same tour guide, but this one was also a bit careless and messy. This agency is the worst!!!
Response from the operator: Dear ignaciof562, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It saddens me to learn taht you didn't realize the tour option you booked for Gibraltar, I would like to inform that we offer Gibraltar tour guided tour as well as we offer the shopping option, which does not include a guided tour, Regarding the ride to Gibraltar, as all agencies are informed, the duration of the ride might vary as we offer several pick up locations, Sincerely,

Great day out
Easy booked and everything was seamless. Tour guide was very good and the coach was spotless. The hotel for the trip was 75 euros each, however I guess that might have included the rock tour too. We just booked the shopping tour to Gibraltar not knowing there’s an extra tour to the top. That said our tour was 88 Euro for all three of us. We had a look around a few drinks and a great steak meal in Paparazzi Steak Cafe which was awesome. All in all a great day out along the Southern coastal road to Gibraltar. We normally book days out at the hotels we stay, however now Tripadvisor is worth a look too.

Why run on a national holiday
Great communication from the host prior and during the trip but the fact they ran the trip on the day of a national bank holiday for Gibraltar was a joke! Not one shop open for obvious reasons and the bars were packed with locals celebrating and the trip to the rock was over a 4 hour wait which when you only have 3.5 hours in Gibraltar till pick up you kind of have had a wasted day. Other travel companies blocked out the BH date I’ve since found out shame this one just wanted to take people’s money without the important info.
Response from the operator: Dear F4397JRvincentb, Thank you for taking the time to share this review, I regret to learn that the tour didn’t live up to your expectations. Please notice that you can find all the information related to the excursion on our official selling spots and website, including a detailed description of the itinerary of the tour. We do not operate the tour when is a bank holiday because is when shops are closed and we want our customers to enjoy the shopping experience. Best regards,

Endless Delays and Rushed Adventure :)
My opinion about the trip from Torremolinos to Gibraltar: One positive aspect of the trip was definitely the driver and guide (I believe his name was Francisco, a gentleman fluent in Spanish, English, and French), who did their job professionally. The guide entertained us with his jokes and ensured a good atmosphere despite some frustrations from the group. Unfortunately, I'm afraid the positives end there. We boarded the bus in Torremolinos at 7:25 AM and arrived in Gibraltar at 11:10 AM. According to Google Maps, the journey should take 1 hour and 40 minutes for 123 km. The bus had too many stops, and combined with the traffic, this made for an unbearably long ride. As a result, we only had about 4 hours in Gibraltar (instead of the advertised 5 hours), so we had to rush through our visit. Part of the delay was also due to some travelers who ignored the requirement to bring their documents. To avoid such situations in the future, perhaps you could emphasize, in bold, underlined, and highlighted in red, that documents are mandatory when confirming the trip. It would also be sensible to send participants an email, Viber, or WhatsApp message with the guide's contact information a day before the trip, so they can be reached if needed. We arrived back in Torremolinos at 6:58 PM, tired and with mixed feelings. We were happy to have experienced something new but also disappointed that it didn't fully meet our expectations. If you embark on this trip with the mindset that you'll be spending about 8 hours on the bus, you won't be disappointed! :)
Response from the operator: Dear Cyberina, Thank you for taking the time to write this review, It saddens me to learn that you were not satisfied with the Gibraltar tour, Please bear in mind that the complete description of the tour is shared with all authorized selling points and agencies. The description indicates that all customers must bring the documents needed to enter Gibraltar as well as the indication about the tour's duration, which might vary as we offer several pick-up locations. I appreciate your kind comments about our tour guide and driver, Best regards,

Gibraltar Shopping Guided Tour from Costa del Sol: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Gibraltar Shopping Guided Tour from Costa del Sol cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Gibraltar Shopping Guided Tour from Costa del Sol take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Gibraltar Shopping Guided Tour from Costa del Sol worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 57 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Gibraltar Shopping Guided Tour from Costa del Sol?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Gibraltar Shopping Guided Tour from Costa del Sol suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Gibraltar Shopping Guided Tour from Costa del Sol?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Gibraltar Shopping Guided Tour from Costa del Sol start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
