Belfast exploration

Paul was amazing. He was so accommodating and knowledgeable and friendly. He even allowed us to move up our tour time so that we could see more of the city. I couldn’t say enough good things about our experience….it didn’t feel like a tour it felt like a Sunday drive with family. I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 because I can honestly say it was the best tour we’ve done through Viator.

Response from the operator: Hey Candice im glad you enjoyed you tour

This was an amazing experience, can’t say enough good things about the entire thing. From the ease of booking, meeting your guide, and the customizable experience he provided. He would add a few little stops in when he could and he took advantage of the extra time we had at port and showed us even more. Professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. If you are traveling with children or if your party is big enough, this is a must. It’s very much affordable when you consider the size of your party and the cost of doing the excursions through the cruise ships.

Response from the operator: Glad you enjoyed your tour ☘️

An Exciting Day Seeing the Sites Around Belfast

This all day adventure took us to some of the top sites in Northern Ireland. We started at a Dunluce Castle near Belfast and drove north to Giant’s Causeway, which was phenomenal and had the opportunity to walk the rope bridge. A quick stop at the Bushmills Distillery was fantastic. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and offered a lot of extra insight into the different areas and the sites that we visited. Michael took great care of us guided us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch and gave us some history of Belfast. It was very informative and would come back again! Thank you for a GREAT day Michael!!

Response from the operator: Glad you enjoyed the tour ☘️

Amazing

Martin was an amazing tour guide. We had a private tour with 6 in our group. Martin was very informative and took us around to the Titanic shipyard & museum, the peace walls and pubs in Belfast. Then along the coast to the rope bridge & Giants causeway. We had some lite drizzle & fog but we were able to circle back to sites to get clear view. Also enjoyed fish & chips at a local pub & whiskey tasting at one of the oldest distilleries. Would highly recommend this private tour.

Response from the operator: Thanks you glad you enjoyed your day ☘️

Giants Causeway day trip from Belfast Cruise Terminal: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Belfast.

How much does Giants Causeway day trip from Belfast Cruise Terminal cost?

+

Prices start at $595 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Belfast usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Giants Causeway day trip from Belfast Cruise Terminal take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Belfast is not rushed.

Is Giants Causeway day trip from Belfast Cruise Terminal worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Belfast, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Giants Causeway day trip from Belfast Cruise Terminal?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Giants Causeway day trip from Belfast Cruise Terminal suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Giants Causeway day trip from Belfast Cruise Terminal?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Belfast can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Belfast and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Giants Causeway day trip from Belfast Cruise Terminal start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Belfast within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Belfast?

+

On Outty we rank every Belfast experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include A History of Terror - Belfast City Centre Walking Tour, Belfast Troubles Tour: Walls and Bridges, Giants Causeway and Castles from Belfast: Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Belfast?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Belfast?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
