Guide was great…value not so…
First let me say our guide (Silver) was great. She explained everything nicely. Not just the food but the history of the eatery, the building and Gettysburg in general. Now as for the value…I noticed we visited one less place than was scheduled on the itinerary. She did switch one place for another. No problem with her calling an “audible” as she wanted to give us something unique to Gettysburg. The samples could have been a little more substantial. Bottom line…it’s something you do once…when I return to Gettysburg, I wouldn’t do again. The regular price when we went was $186 for two people. (TripAdvisor applied TA$ I had in my bank to reduce it to $171)…still a bit much for what we ate.

The food was amazing! You get actually portions not just a small piece of something! The walking part was not strenuous! It was a lot of fun! Great history and stories! Silver (tour guide) was so kind and accommodating! She made sure that my dad had a great birthday!

Silver was our tour guide and very informative about the history of the area and had a lot of recommendations of places to eat or visit after the tour. All of the food was very good and you won’t leave the food tour hungry!
