1. Chaiya Mangalaram Thai Buddhist Temple

   Your driver will pick you up from your respective hotel or cruise terminal to proceed with the city Tour.   Firstly you will visit Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple where the 4th longest Reclining Buddha Statue is found

2. Dhammikarama Burmese Temple

   Right across the road you may also visit the Dharmikarama Burmese Temple which holds a Buddha statue standing at 8.2 meters, making it the tallest in Malaysia. The existence of these two temples is due to the early settlement of the Thai and Burmese community in the early 1800s.

3. Fort Cornwallis

   After that, take a scenic drive through the streets of George Town - UNESCO World Heritage Site and witness the ramnant left by the British and local dwellers of the past. Places of Interest: Esplanade/Fort Cornwallis, Little India, Streets of Racial Harmony, Chew Jetty, etc.

7. Historic City of George Town

   George Town bears testimony to a living multi-cultural heritage and tradition of Asia where the many religions and cultures met and coexisted. They reflect the coming together of cultural elements from the Malay Archipelago, India and China with those of Europe, to create a unique architecture, culture and townscape. 8. Pinang Peranakan Mansion

   At the Pinang Peranakan Mansion, the typical home of a rich Baba of a century ago is recreated to offer a glimpse of their opulent lifestyle and of their many customs and traditions. With over 1,000 pieces of antiques and collectibles of the era on display, this Baba-Nyonya museum is also housed in one of Penang’s heritage mansion of eclectic design and architecture. Built at the end of the 19th century by one of local history’s famous personalities, the ‘Hai Kee Chan’ or Sea Remembrance Store had once served as the residence and office of Kapitan Cina Chung Keng Kwee. Though not a Baba himself, his Chinese courtyard house was much like a typical large Baba home of eclectic style, incorporating Chinese carved-wood panels and English floor tiles and Scottish ironworks. Having survived the many decades of neglect and decay, the mansion has now been restored to its former glory of a stately home. (Entrance Tickets Included)

9. Khoo Kongsi

   Khoo Kongsi is one of the most impressive clan houses in Malaysia, built by the Khoo family who were among the early Chinese settlers in Penang. Located in the heart of George Town, this beautifully preserved heritage site showcases intricate carvings, richly decorated halls, and traditional Chinese architecture. Often regarded as the grandest clan house in Southeast Asia, Khoo Kongsi also serves as a cultural and historical museum, offering insight into the lives, traditions, and achievements of the Chinese community in Penang.

10. Coffee Tree

    On the way, we will stop for some free sampling of Penang’s famous White Coffee/ Tea @ Coffee Tree After the city tour ends, the driver will bring you back to your hotel or cruise terminal. You may also request to be dropped in any location in Georgetown.
