Excellent evening spent tasting wines on a rooftop terrace

Lovely evening had spent tasting several wines accompanied by some tasty local nibbles. Very relaxed yet informative, we throughly enjoyed ourselves and couldn’t believe how quickly the evening went by. Thanks Sven for hosting us. We definitely recommend this experience.

    Fantastic experience!

We had a beautiful evening sharing wine with strangers who became fast friends. Such a fun experience, a lot of wine, and great food too! A great welcome to Pollenca.

Great Wine Tasting with lovely host

Sven was an excellent host for this wine tasting, which was a birthday gift for my girlfriend. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful evening with an excellent host

The wine tasting took place on a rooftop terrace with 6 people, which was a good number. It was a very pretty space and suited the evening event. The host (Sven) was welcoming and friendly, which helped make everyone comfortable and chatty with others in the group. To gauge what we liked and were hoping for Sven asked us all what ki d of wine we liked and what we were hoping for from the evening. This meant he brought both wines he hoped we'd enjoy and those we may not normally try because we thought we didn't like them. Im not keen on rosé bu he had us taste one from Mallorca, and was it surprisingly good. He showed us how to smell and taste the wine and how different it could be if you swirled it rather than just drank it. The host had a tasting card, and he explained some of the many different flavours you can get with wine. He was interested in hearing what his clients thought and didn't make you feel daft when using less professional words than he knew when we tried to describe the wine. We were also lucky to have a lovely platter of wine, cheese, ham olives, and bread. He obviously knew a lot about wine and was very good at sharing this with us and ensuring we had a great evening. We will be doing this again next year!

    Best experience of our trip!

My husband and I did this while on our honeymoon and it was by far our favorite thing the entire 15 days we were in Europe. My husband and I both are not wine aficionados at all and so we went to learn more about wine, which we absolutely did! The rest of the trip, we were talking about different notes and trying new variations I wouldn’t typically do. We had such a fantastic time talking with the group as well in the intimate setting, which was so nice! Sven caters the wine towards the group so it’s unique every time and had a lovely spread of food that paired with each wine specifically. He was so kind and welcoming and very knowledgeable of wine in aspects I didn’t even know existed! We both would highly recommend this tasting and would go again!

Gastronomic Wine Tasting Experience Guided by a Sommelier: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Gastronomic Wine Tasting Experience Guided by a Sommelier cost?

    +

Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Gastronomic Wine Tasting Experience Guided by a Sommelier take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Gastronomic Wine Tasting Experience Guided by a Sommelier worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Gastronomic Wine Tasting Experience Guided by a Sommelier?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Gastronomic Wine Tasting Experience Guided by a Sommelier suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Gastronomic Wine Tasting Experience Guided by a Sommelier?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Gastronomic Wine Tasting Experience Guided by a Sommelier start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
