    About this experience

Hello dear Game of Thrones fan! Welcome to King’s Landing. Indeed, the city of Dubrovnik was chosen as the filming location for most of the exterior scenes of King’s Landing. One look at the architecture of the old town of Dubrovnik and you will realize that it was no random choice. On this tour we will take you inside the Fortress of St Lawrence, which, for us, fans of GoT, is the famous Red Keep , the home of Queen Cersei of house Lannister. From the top of the Red Keep, the breathtaking views of the Old Town are waiting for you! In addition, in this tour you will see shooting spots of Purple Wedding, farewell of Myrcella, riot in King’s Landing and the one and only … Walk of Shame. At the end of the tour, you will learn where to buy GoT souvenirs and sit on the Iron Throne like a true Lord of the Seven Kingdoms Sounds good? Click below and reserve your private tour.

    Dubrovnik experience

Tonci gave us a very comprehensive tour of Dubrovnik on our vacation. He was very knowledgeable about the city and its history as well as information about the filming of GOT, so we got 2 for 1! He also gave us a recommendation for a locally owned restaurant which was great! Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! We're so glad you enjoyed the tour with Tonci — his knowledge of Dubrovnik’s history and Game of Thrones always makes for a great experience. Happy to hear the restaurant recommendation was a hit too! We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again soon.

Lannister fame and walk of shame

Loved this tour! Boxana our guide was excellent and so knowledgeable! We saw several areas of the city that were used as filming locations and also a visit to the shop to sit on the iron throne. The weather wasn’t great but the tour was superb and didn’t dampen the whole experience. Loved it!

Response from the operator: It's always nice to hear/read such lovely words and that you enjoyed your experience. Thank you.

    +

What should I bring or wear?

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
