    1. Brsalje Street

This is our meeting point, at the Amerling Fountain just outside the Old Town, overlooking Blackwater Bay. After meeting your guide you will hear some interesting details about the filming and the crew. Several of our guides worked on the show, so expect plenty of behind-the-scenes stories.

    2. Lovrjenac Fortress

Before we climb the stairs to Fort Lovrijenac, you will be shown the scenes filmed at the King's Landing port and Blackwater Bay. At Lovrijenac - the Red Keep - your guide points out the scenes shot inside the fortress, after which you will have around 10 minutes free for photographs. There are restrooms inside the fort. From the top terrace we take in the views of Lokrum Island and the City Walls, both of which appear in the show as well. Please bear in mind that there are stairs to reach the top. The guide will not rush you and the pace of the tour is relaxed, but if at any point you would rather not make the climb, simply say so and you can rejoin the group afterwards. Entrance to the fortress is €15 per person, payable on the day, or free with a Dubrovnik Pass

40 minutes here · Admission not included

    3. Old Town

Our beautiful Old Town was King's Landing, but you will hear a few facts about the real Dubrovnik as well. We walk along Stradun, the main street, which has also served as Nottingham in Robin Hood and as the casino city of Canto Bight in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

      20 minutes here

    4. Monument of Poet Ivan Gundulic

As soon as we pass the Gundulić monument and the morning market, we reach the Jesuit Stairs, the most famous staircase in the world for any Game of Thrones fan. This is where the Great Sept of Baelor stood, added digitally in post-production, and where we recreate Cersei's Walk of Shame.

      10 minutes here

    5. We finish the tour at the Iron Throne, where your photo is free. Some people take a portrait, some propose to their girlfriend on the most famous chair in the world, and some just buy Tyrion souvenirs. The tour ends here on Boškovićeva, a two-minute walk from Stradun, and you are welcome to stay as long as you like.

    Game of Thrones tour

Very knowledgeable. Knew her history as well as movie kept a dood pace. Critism. Did bot tell us there was a 15 Euro charge to go to another area - raise your price to include this or don’t go there

    Game of Thrones

Katjia(not sure if I spelled that right) and Mario are a power couple of guide. This tour was so much fun and they both had a great sense of humor. Started in the city and castle and then Mario took us to the gardens and up to the best look out photo op in the city. So much fun I highly recommend. If you’re a Game of Thrones fan this is a must and much better than what’s available through the cruise line. Mario dropped us off right at the ship to make sure we made it back on time.A+

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.

How much does Game of Thrones and Iron Throne tour in Dubrovnik cost?

    +

Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Game of Thrones and Iron Throne tour in Dubrovnik take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.

Is Game of Thrones and Iron Throne tour in Dubrovnik worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 339 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Game of Thrones and Iron Throne tour in Dubrovnik?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Game of Thrones and Iron Throne tour in Dubrovnik suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Game of Thrones and Iron Throne tour in Dubrovnik?

    +

Around 119 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h), Dubrovnik: Sunset Kayaking & Snorkeling with water &wine. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
