    Cool Experience

Note the Rhino walk is not walking with the Rhinos, you walk to the area they are in with armed wild life professionals along with your guide. You will view the Rhinos in whatever their current natural state is from a safe distance and be provided with info and have opportunity to take pics. Overall pickup was timely and my guide and driver were great. Sylvester provided information about every animal we came across on the game drive and made it an enjoyable and knowledgeable experience. I recommend

We’re delighted to hear that your pickup was timely and that you enjoyed the experience with your guide and driver. We’ll be sure to pass your wonderful comments on to Sylvester. It’s great to know that his knowledge and information about the animals made your game drive both enjoyable and educational. Protect the rhinos at all costs

What an awesome experience!! There are only 7 white rhinos left in all of Zambia, and I got to see them all on this tour; they are heavily guarded 24/7. Apart from the rhinos I also saw elephants, giraffes, impalas and baboons, to name a few!! Jonas and Sylvester were excellent, well-informed guided.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your incredible experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you had the chance to see all 7 of Zambia's white rhinos — such a rare and special sight. It's always our goal to offer memorable and informative tours, and we're so glad that Jonas and Sylvester made your visit even more exceptional. We hope to welcome you back for more adventures in the future!

    Wildlife at its best

We set off at 11am for a very informative and adventurous tour. Hotel pick up and drop off was prompt and a big plus. Our guides were fantastic, chatty and knowledgeable about the wildlife and vegetation. It was an amazing experience, like travelling with friends. I recommend early morning or early evening to see all the animals as they are most active then, but the experience did not disappoint. We saw many of the big wildlife and got close (but within safe distance) to the rhinos and had a fabulous family picture. The graceful impala was my favourite. Importantly, we were safe with our guides and rangers. I definitely recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your heartfelt review! We're absolutely delighted to hear that you had such an informative and adventurous experience with us. It’s wonderful that you felt like you were traveling with friends — that’s exactly the kind of atmosphere we aim to create. We're glad the wildlife didn’t disappoint and that you got to see so many incredible animals up close, especially the rhinos — and what a special moment to capture a family photo! The impala is a beautiful favorite, too. Your kind words about our guides mean the world to us, and we’re thrilled to know you felt safe and well cared for throughout the tour. Thank you for the recommendation and for choosing to share this experience with us. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon! 🦏

Game Drive And Rhino Walk: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Livingstone.

How much does Game Drive And Rhino Walk cost?

    +

Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Livingstone usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Game Drive And Rhino Walk take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Livingstone is not rushed.

Is Game Drive And Rhino Walk worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Livingstone, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Game Drive And Rhino Walk?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Game Drive And Rhino Walk suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Game Drive And Rhino Walk?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Livingstone can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Livingstone and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Livingstone?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Livingstone?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
