Gooddx
We had a wonderful experience! The pasta-making class was fun and enjoyable, and our chef, Vittorio, was absolutely lovely friendly, patient, and made the whole experience even better. The only downside was that it was very hot inside, which made the class a little uncomfortable. Also, I think the hygiene around the shared water bowl could be improved. Everyone was putting their hands into the same bowl of water throughout the class, while naturally wiping sweat because of the heat, which didn’t feel very hygienic. Overall, though, we had a great time and really enjoyed the experience. Thank you, Vittorio for making it so much fun!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for choosing our cooking class in Rome and for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We are delighted that you had a wonderful experience with Chef Vittorio and appreciated his friendly, patient, and engaging approach. We will certainly share your lovely comments with him. We are sorry that you found the temperature uncomfortable. Our location is equipped with air conditioning, although during particularly hot summer days in Rome, a busy class can sometimes make the room feel warmer despite the system being in operation. Guest comfort is very important to us, and we continuously monitor the environment during our experiences. Regarding your comment about the water bowl, we would like to reassure you that food hygiene is extremely important to Eat and Walk Italy. Before beginning the class, all participants are required to wash their hands thoroughly. The bowl contains only a small amount of water used specifically to moisten and seal the edges of the ravioli. The ravioli are subsequently cooked in boiling water at approximately 100°C before being eaten. This procedure is part of our established class format and is carried out following our hygiene standards. Nevertheless, we appreciate your observation and understand the importance of guests feeling completely comfortable throughout the experience. We are very happy that overall you had a great time and that Chef Vittorio made the class so enjoyable. We hope you will recreate your pasta and tiramisu at home. Fun times
Our host chef, Lionelo (?), was great! Fun way to spend a few hours and quite a decent meal to end it off. Would’ve appreciated more air conditioning in the space, and more wine served throughout the event.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for choosing our cooking class in Rome and for taking the time to share your feedback! We are very happy that you enjoyed the experience with Chef Lionello and found the class a fun way to spend a few hours in Rome, followed by a meal you enjoyed. Regarding the air conditioning, our location is equipped with air conditioning, although during the hottest summer days in Rome, the temperature can sometimes feel warmer when a group is actively participating in the class. We always do our best to keep the environment as comfortable as possible for our guests. As for the wine, our experience includes the quantity of wine clearly specified in the booking description. Additional wine can also be ordered directly from the restaurant for guests who would like to enjoy more during their time with us. We appreciate your comments and are glad that overall you had a positive experience with Chef Lionello. We hope you will recreate your fettuccine, ravioli, and tiramisu at home. Family cooking fun in Rome!
Our class with Carlotta was so much fun! We went as a family of 4 including two kids ages 13 and 11. Everyone was able to work independently and keep the pace that Carlotta worked at easily. We all had a ton of fun and thoroughly enjoyed eating our hard work afterwards. Since the class we have sadly returned home, but my 13-year-old has been able to recreate her fettuccine twice already completely independently and has declared she no longer wants any other type of pasta! My 11-year-old son and I recreated the tiramisu yesterday and it is hands-down our favourite version. Do not hesitate to book this class, it will be something everyone involved remembers (and enjoys!) for a long time after your trip is over.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for choosing our cooking class in Rome and for taking the time to share such a wonderful and detailed review! We absolutely loved reading that your experience with Chef Carlotta became such a memorable part of your family trip. Knowing that both your children felt confident following each step and had so much fun during the class makes us incredibly happy. The best part is hearing that the experience has continued at home! Your 13 year old recreating the fettuccine completely independently, and already making it twice, is fantastic. And hearing that our tiramisu has become your family’s favorite version is such a wonderful compliment. Chef Carlotta will be delighted to hear all of this! Please share photos of your next homemade creations and tag us on Instagram @eatandwalk_italy and TikTok @eatandwalkitaly. We truly love seeing our recipes become part of our guests’ kitchens and family memories. Why this scores 88
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fun Fettuccine, Ravioli & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Rome: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Fun Fettuccine, Ravioli & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Rome cost?
+
Prices start at $47 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fun Fettuccine, Ravioli & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Rome take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Fun Fettuccine, Ravioli & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Rome worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 561 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fun Fettuccine, Ravioli & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Rome?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fun Fettuccine, Ravioli & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Rome suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fun Fettuccine, Ravioli & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Rome?
+
Around 196 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fun Fettuccine, Ravioli & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Rome start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
