About this experience
Our team has been doing guided walking tours of Historic Downtown Savannah for over 20 years. We wanted to create a walking tour that was more than just your "traditional" kid-friendly tour. Fun Facts and a Snack was brought to life after going on a school field trip with my nephew. I was motivated to create a tour that kids of all ages would not only enjoy, but are also able to learn something along the way. Join us as we take you and your child on a stroll through the city squares and Historic District of the Hostess City. We will meet in Johnson Square, by the monument for Nathaniel Greene.

Please n9te this review is for the TASTE TOUR which was not an option on the drop down menu We've done the dessert tout and loved it so we decided to do the food tour. Ro was our tour guide which happened to be the same guy from dessert tour. He was super funny and helpful during the tour. So many places visited on the stop highlights being the chicken box from paula deans and sweet tea chicken from another place. We wnjoyed that so much we went back for supper another night. The evening ended with cobbler at peach cobbler factory. Don't eat breakfast bc your belly will need room lol but don't worry you will walk if off. Tea and water included. You byob

Fun Facts And A Snack, walking historic downtown Savannah Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Savannah.
How much does Fun Facts And A Snack, walking historic downtown Savannah Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Savannah usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fun Facts And A Snack, walking historic downtown Savannah Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Savannah is not rushed.
Is Fun Facts And A Snack, walking historic downtown Savannah Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Savannah, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fun Facts And A Snack, walking historic downtown Savannah Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Fun Facts And A Snack, walking historic downtown Savannah Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fun Facts And A Snack, walking historic downtown Savannah Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Savannah can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Savannah and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fun Facts And A Snack, walking historic downtown Savannah Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Savannah within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Savannah?
+
Savannah is a walking city with a dense guide market, which means quality spread is wide. Historic district walks, Bonaventure Cemetery trips, trolley hop-on routes and ghost tours with tavern access make up most bookings. Outty Ranking leans on licensed-guide status and group size, since the squares get loud once a tour passes twenty people. On Outty we rank every Savannah experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Savannah Guided Walking Tour, Bonaventure Cemetery Walking Tour with Transportation, Haunted Savannah Booze and Boos Ghost Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Savannah?
+
March to May for azaleas, or October to November for cool evenings. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Savannah?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
