Excellent tour experience. Geri kinda pricey length is too tight for shopping Our crowd size is good

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We are very pleased to hear that you had an excellent tour experience and that the group size was comfortable. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the timing and shopping opportunities. As this tour is designed to cover several highlights within the limited time available from the cruise schedule, the itinerary can sometimes feel a little tight. We always do our best to balance sightseeing, commentary, free time, and a safe return to the ship. Thank you again for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back for another tour in the future.

Good tour and guide!

Gloni was a fun guide! He took you to good places in Marseille and Cassia. Both places were beautiful. In Marseille we even visited the oldest bakery. We got time on our own in different spots to shop and walk around and eat but time goes by fast. I left 4 stars because he was 1 hr late based off his office not locating our trip so we only went to 2 places and the cost of the tour was not adjusted. So just make sure if you book, you hear from the tour the day before. We were able to salvage the trip and had a good time but this tour cost a lot to not get to go to all 3 places.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words about our guide Gloni, and we are delighted that you enjoyed discovering Marseille and Cassis, including the stop at the oldest bakery. We are also glad that you appreciated the free time to shop, walk around, and enjoy local food. Just to clarify for future guests reading: normally, this tour includes Aix-en-Provence, Cassis, and a stop at the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde in Marseille. However, as you specifically requested to see the Château d’If and also preferred to avoid a rushed schedule, the itinerary was adjusted on the day to focus on Marseille and Cassis, giving you more time to enjoy both destinations at a comfortable pace. We are happy you were still able to have a pleasant day with Gloni, and we sincerely hope to welcome you again in the future so you can experience the full program with us.

Full day tour sorry France

Djilani the tour guide was excellent! He was on time and waited for us to get off the ship. Gave us great day sharing the history of all the areas we visited. Felt like family showing us around. Recommend the full day tour. Beautiful day and my teenage kids were so happy and loved this day. Thank you Djilani and hope to see you in Florida.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was truly a pleasure spending the day with you and your family. I’m very happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that your kids had a great time as well. It means a lot to be described as “family” — that’s exactly how I want my guests to feel. Wishing you all the best and I hope we meet again soon, maybe next time in Florida!

Fullday Aix en provence, Cassis and Marseille: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marseille.

How much does Fullday Aix en provence, Cassis and Marseille cost?

+

Prices start at $950 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marseille usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Fullday Aix en provence, Cassis and Marseille take?

+

Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marseille is not rushed.

Is Fullday Aix en provence, Cassis and Marseille worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marseille, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Fullday Aix en provence, Cassis and Marseille?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Fullday Aix en provence, Cassis and Marseille suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Fullday Aix en provence, Cassis and Marseille?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marseille can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marseille and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Fullday Aix en provence, Cassis and Marseille start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marseille within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marseille?

+

On Outty we rank every Marseille experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marseille Food Tour – Full Meal of Local Tastes by Do Eat Better, Beyond Bouillabaisse: Diving into Marseille’s Multicultural Stew, Marseille Guided Tour for 4 Hours with a Bilingual Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marseille?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marseille?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
