This was a very interesting tour and...

This was a very interesting tour and we had a great time in general. We used the same company for 2 different tours and I was happy with them. I totally recommend it for your future trips. Nevertheless, there are some things I would like to point it out. The Asilah part is great but the Tangier no that much. The Hercules cave is nice but just a very modernized cave with a very commercial history made of just for tourism purpose. It was not very interesting for me as a natural cave. The 7 palace area has nothing to offer, you will be driving in front big walls that allow you to see anything. The walking by the Medina is nice, but it is something you can do by yourself if you have the time. So maybe, if you wanna save some money just book the Asila part of the tour. Our driver was the best. The guide was good . I just do not know why we have to use another guide for a 5 min tour inside the cave and paid some extra tips . We gave him 2 euros and he said it was not enough. I personally do not think he deserved more and it is a tip, not his salary, so the amount is my consideration. The guide wanted me to go to different stores for shopping but I told him straight I was not interested. Also the guide took us to lunch at the medina in Tangier in a very tinny local house no very attractive with No menu, no prices, little variety, small portions and at the end, it cost us the same that any other restaurant we were at the medina with a great view and a high reputation among tourists. No wondering we were the only clients there. I love to support small local businesses, but please, I do not like to feel abused. My recommendation, chose the place for lunch, guides always will take you were they are going to get the big commission even if it is not the best option. The walking at the medina in Asilah has to be better planned. It was unnecessarily long. We walked by the same area sometime more than one.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tangier and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
