Cairo and Nile Cruise

This was an excellent tour! GAT Tours planned every detail and was very accommodating. We were initially going to cancel the tour considering the recent instability in the Gulf Region, however, the tour manager (Ahmed Omar) ensured our safety. We felt very safe in the hands of our tour guides (Asmaa - in Cairo and Simon in Luxor/Aswan). Both tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, personable, engaging, and advised us well on how to save time and money at the various sites and markets. Strongly recommend Asmaa and Simon as tour guides! Our travel/logistics person (Seif) was also great. He ensured our transportation, pick-ups, and meals were all on time. Everyone operating the tour was accessible and responsive via iPhone. The tour guides really showed us how rich their culture (ancient or modern) is. Highly recommend this tour: Six adults (incl. 2 seniors). My personal favorites: Valley of the Kings, GEM, and any of the evening tours of the temples!

Response from the operator: Dear Mr. Marc, Thank you very much for your kind words and heartfelt recommendation! We are truly happy to hear that you enjoyed your trip to our beautiful country Egypt and appreciated the support provided by our professional team. Your special mentions are highly valued and mean a lot to us. It was our real pleasure to organize your trip, and we sincerely look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you and your lovely family again in the near future. All my best wishes Sincerely, Guest Relations Team

Amazing trip❤️

We had an absolutely amazing experience with GAT Tours during our 7–8 day trip to Egypt. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and thoughtfully planned. We visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor, and every part of the journey was smooth and stress-free. The pick-ups and drop-offs were always on time, which made traveling between cities so easy. The itinerary was well-structured without feeling rushed, and our accommodations were comfortable and exactly what we hoped for. What truly stood out were the guides — they were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about sharing Egypt’s history and culture. They made each destination even more meaningful and memorable. Also best thing was all the entrance fees were talking care from the company. No hassle standing in long lines. GAT Tours really paid attention to our needs and made sure everything was handled seamlessly. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Egypt. It was a five-star experience all the way!

Excellent and Wonderful experience with GAT Tour Egypt

We had a wonderful experience with this tour in Egypt, and I would like to sincerely appreciate the entire team for making our trip smooth and memorable. A special thanks to Ameera, our guide, who was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about Egyptian history. She explained everything clearly and made each site come alive with context and stories. Her professionalism and friendly nature made the experience even more enjoyable. Our driver, Karam, deserves appreciation as well. He was punctual, calm, and drove very safely throughout the journey, which gave us complete peace of mind. I would also like to thank Ramadan and Omar, the organisers, for their excellent coordination and support. Everything was well planned, communication was clear, and they were always available whenever we needed assistance. Overall, this was a very well-organised tour, and I highly recommend this team to anyone planning to visit Egypt.

Gat tours Best experience in Egypt amazing people, very knowledgeable guides, very good and kind people. Thanks to Dina, Mahfouz

If we could give more than 5 star they deserve it, Very professional very helpful very friendly. Our tour starred 20th Nov and ended 29th November. From arrival in airport till departure everything was more than 100% perfect. Dina is best, if anyone connects Gat tour please request Dina as Tour Manager/Planner she will pamper you so much that you will be in different world. From the day of planning she was so helpful and so considerate we changed our plans so many times but she never showed any hesitation. She is the best. Mrs Manar our tour guide got Cairo activates and GEM visit was simply amazing she ensured that we could visit GEM. The Nile cruise arranged by Dina was amazing with river view room, large options of food etc. Mahmud our guide in Aswan to Luxor was very helpful. Unfortunately our balloon ride was cancelled due to weather but Dina was sweet enough to get us refund. Mr Mahfouz our tour guide in Bahriya he is a gem of a person. He is just like Dina who will pamper you so much that when you leave them back you feel sad with wet eyes. Thanks Mahfouz for making our day and also for lovely dates we cherish the memories , hope we meet again. Thanks to Omar for taking care of all our immigration, airport and train pickups. Best way to tour Cairo

I can’t say enough positive things about GAT Tours. They made the whole experience SO easy and enjoyable — even prior to our arrival. Mr. Ahmed sent us our itinerary and was able to work with us to modify and add the camel ride in the pyramids. Then upon arrival to Cairo, Mr. Abdu walked us through immigration at the airport and helped us get our VISA expediting the process. Despite a delayed flight, Mr. Abdu and Mr. Mohammed were there waiting to pick us up. They helped us settle into our hotel with no hassle — and what a great hotel recommendation! The next day we met Mr. Sayed — INCREDIBLE tour guide with immense expertise in so many languages. I asked many questions and he answered each one, even taking notes with us on his notepad to help us understand even more clearly. We did two full day tours: first day at Cairo Museum + pyramids + sphynx and day two: Coptic Cairo, Citadel, market, mosques — we were SO surprised to walk into the room where the Holy Family spent three months as they fled from Herod. Wow. What an emotional moment. Mr. Sayed gave us time to take it all in. Upon departure, Mr. Abdu helped us so much during the check-in process and bag drop off. I am already recommending GAT Tours to all of my friends and family. If we could give more than five stars, we would!!! Thank you Mr. Ahmed, Mr. Abdu, Mr. Sayed, and Mr. Mohammed - we miss you already!

Full Day Tour to Pyramids of Giza & Grand Egyptian Museum "GEM": questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.

How much does Full Day Tour to Pyramids of Giza & Grand Egyptian Museum "GEM" cost?

+

Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full Day Tour to Pyramids of Giza & Grand Egyptian Museum "GEM" take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.

Is Full Day Tour to Pyramids of Giza & Grand Egyptian Museum "GEM" worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Tour to Pyramids of Giza & Grand Egyptian Museum "GEM"?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full Day Tour to Pyramids of Giza & Grand Egyptian Museum "GEM" suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full Day Tour to Pyramids of Giza & Grand Egyptian Museum "GEM"?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full Day Tour to Pyramids of Giza & Grand Egyptian Museum "GEM" start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Giza?

+

On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel, ATV Bike, Shopping & Dinner Cruise, Giza Pyramids VIP Private Tour ATV Camel Inside Pyramid & Lunch, Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel Ride, Lunch & Inside pyramids. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Giza?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
